In Australia migration context, it is when a state give nomination to people because of their family members living in the state.

Well Understood now.

I need URGENT help please. I assessed with Vetassess as a Customer Service Manager and got a negative after 12 weeks + without any CO contact (although I demanded to know my CO and she replied me privately). The reason for decline was I did not show enough proof that I head the CS unit (although I assessed 8 years as customer service officer and 1 year + as customer service coordinator). I want to reassess but unsure of the documents to include as proof.

@Bellong and all the experts here, would a letter from my HR (probably notarized or taken to court) counter that if it states that I have been acting as the unit manager for over 3 years now and was promoted to the post of Customer service manager since May 16th stating further that my position is managerial and only a change in nomenclature but same in practice.

Would that be a good enough evidence to reassess? If no, please guide me on the documents to include for this reassessment please.

Please @bellong . My hubby has Bsc in physiology, NEBOSH and Msc in Environment Health and Safety with 7 yrs experience in Occupational health and safety. When doing VETASSES assessment can he use only his Msc to assess for qualifications or he has to use both msc and bsc.

You don't have to but you have to ensure that VETASSES get your transcript on time because it may delay the assessment.

You can pay and then arrange your transcript. If you send transcript before payment, they will not be able to match it to any application.

@goodies1
You can send your transcript before payment. I did that last year August. After registering on Vetassess, ensure your school writes your application number on the envelope containing your transcript and a copy of your certificate.
As soon as you are notified by d courier company that the documents have been delivered, email vetassess with your details and application number to confirm receipt of d document. I got a mail response in 4 working days that it has been received and I hadn't even paid the AUD880 then.

Try PTE, it is easier to achieve your desired score than the rest.

Please Gurus in the house, please kindly answer this question

Aside the MSc, does he have any certification in occupational health and safety?

If he has any short course, he should add it to the MSc because VETASSES has a different way of viewing things. However, if his MSc program has courses targeted at occupational hygiene and safety, he should be fine.

Your question, he can send only his MSc but it is better to send his BSc with it.

Due to the unprecedented demand of the skilled program the BSMQ skilled program is temporarily CLOSED.

Expressions of interest (EOI’s) submitted for SkillSelect after 5.00pm AEST 30 July 2019 will not be considered at this time.

EOIs submitted from 29–30 July 2019 (5.00pm AEST) will be accepted and considered over the coming months.

Due to this demand, it is unlikely that the subclass 489 program will reopen (for skilled applicants) due to the closure for nominations on 10 September 2019 (to be replaced by the new subclass 491 Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa).

The subclass 190 program will reopen in due course, and BSMQ will publish the re-opening date via www.migration.qld.gov.au and on social media channels.

The BSMQ Business program remains OPEN

I was in your shoes. Processed 189 while studying in UK. You are funding your trip. That is not an issue to worry about

Please does this mean that after September, one can no longer apply for 489 visa? What are the implications please? And the new 491 will it also be a gateway to PR like 489?

The location is Ministry of Health, Port Health Office, beside the airport Toll Gate. If you are coming from Mafoluku Oshodi axis, turn right into the toll gate. The building is immediately after the toll gate. You should see the sign post.

The procedure is also very simple and straightforward. You will need a photocopy of your Passport Biodata page and N1000. You have to go in person as proxy processing is not permitted.
1. Enter your name, Passport Number and Telephone Number in the Register provided.
2. Submit the photocopy of your Passport biodata page and N1000 to the receiving Nurses.
3. Wait on the queue for inoculation.
4. Get inoculated.
5. Collect your Yellow Card.

Good morning folks
@bellong

I have read most comment and will like to apply
I have MSc in Environmental Engineering, NEBOSH and three years experience in occupational health and Safety. Please what are the chances of a positive assessment outcome from VETASS. Thanks. Is NEBOSH equal to AQF diploma level described by VETASS

What was your BS.c major. was it also in environmental engineering, i think the occupation you are applying for has to tally with your BS.c major for Australia sha as they do not assess MSc, VETASS clearly stated it above; the field must be highly relevant with a relevant occupation. It is risky but you can try. Just ensure you ask properly if anyone has done and gotten positive assessment before makin any investment.
Also my brother you have Masters why not try Canada while you are hoping on this australia one.
