Which school is this?

Maybe you should request for more time...say end of August.

quote author=OB411 post=80802247]I applied July 2 and application is currently on eligibility review and background check, from the way response has been so damn slow from CIC I am considering deferring till next academic calender, cos my school has prompted me to pay up tuition balance.

Dont know if it advisable to go that route though. School is suppose to resume sep 3rd.[/quote]

pls, who knows the visa office e-mail or how I can ask about my visa application as I feel the visa office is taking too long to respond after a passed medical.

I once saw on this thread somebody sending a mail and after he got his passport and bvl sent. Just can't locate the timeline again.

I guess you are a May applicant. Go to 128. Frank dropped the email address of all the offices.

Better to defer. July has already ended and time is now too short for fall hopefuls whose applications are still in progress

Thanks for your response

July peeps, you guys should calm down. Some May and almost every June applicants still dey here. Patience!!! But don’t defer yet. At least enter enter September, you never can tell.

Honestly I am super calm, I ve got too many things engaging me quite frankly I have very little time for myself. It's the email from my school with a deadline to make tuition bal payment that got me seeking suggestions.

Thanks all the same for the response very much appreciated.

Hello Everyone,

Pls i want to understand the difference between statement of purpose (SOP) and letter of explanation (LOE).
statement of purpose is what you include in your application to explain your travel reasons, home ties etc.
LOE is the letter you include to tackle a denial and explain further or give more evidence.

which documents will a third party sponsor have to submit for study application and is it advisable to use a third party sponsor.
parksg:
@ Dreambig124 if your brother could sponsor you with $5000 yearly and you trade 0.5 of your coins that should be enough to cover total cost.

Or you could just do as Akeemty stated.

BTW, I wouldn't want to sell mine if I were you.

Hello Everyone,

Pls i want to understand the difference between statement of purpose (SOP) and letter of explanation (LOE).
The theme of a SOP is geared towards the first time visa applicants. In this case, the applicant will more likely talk about how the advance studies is going to complement past academics and how it will brighten up the future career scope. In addition, various other topics will be addressed such as capability to finance your studies and living cost, why particular program, why Canada, why particular institution, etc.

The theme of a LOE is geared more towards the re-applicants (whose visa application was earlier rejected). In this case, the applicant will start first-half of the letter by explaining what went wrong in previous applications and on what ground it was rejected. It should also include the way you have been able to address the previous problem in your preceding application.

Not true. Order for your gcms note now, the gcms notes will tell you the real reasons behind your denial, then with that you can work on that and tender a much better app. Dont mind the person that said you need to get visiting visa first before applying for study.
Search on Google "gcms note" and you will see different links as to how you can order for it and, follow them and you are good(it will take around 30-40 days for you to get it)

@mcobex have said well. Don't be bothered by that. A person can apply for any legal status recognized by the authority of a country irrespective of the previous visa type/outcome

If you don't pay, your sit might be given to someone else and maybe put you on a waitlist or give you a refund. If you're really interested in going to the school, kindly pay the balance tuition fees as requested by the school to avoid story that touches. Since there is a delay from IRCC, making plans to defer and getting a new admission letter is very important.

BTW hope you've check with the school or website to know about their refund policy.

Good luck!
