Very Good! Way to go by Akwa Ibom state govt. I urge other southern and middle beltans states to key into this beautiful idea and empower their own citizens in Animal Husbandry. The best and the only way to keep citizens healthy and financially empowered is through importation of pure breeds without human DNA. Personally I have stopped eating any cow associated with fulani, owing to their diabolic nature of sexual intercourse with cows before selling to the public. Consuming such cows is nothing but indirect canibalism as they are embeded with human DNA. Imagine this witchcraft? What is more evil than this? God forbid! We have settled for fish, chicken, goat meat and others. Fulani cow meat is now a taboo in my family. |

Nice move, but I expect the government to take a further step in acquiring embryo transfer technology so as to multiply the 2000 cows into hundred of thousands in the nearest future through breeding programs. 1 Like |

Simplyleo: Mek Buhari take him cow and give us our oil, we have chosen to get cow meat elsewhere since Buhari own has been polluted sexually. Our lives are more important here in the SS than cow. |

Akwa Ibom totally missed the point. A sad wasted that's doomed to fail. There's Federal money on the table for you to establish a full-scale livestock/husbandry industry with and technical support via CBN, but you imported 2000 cattle for what exactly? Have they built the necessary livestock and processing infrastructure to handle thousands of livestock animals like clinics, milking facilities, meat processing facilities, waste disposal and skilled veterinary manpower to handle such operations and so on? This is a knee jack reaction to RUGA, a phrase, and concept they don't understand and saw from a tribal, ethnic and bigoted vantage point. 2 Likes |

Why import what can be locally sourced? You create jobs abroad, weaken our Naira, and create avenues for corruption. Let them tell us the cost of bringing in those cows. 1 Like |

Turantula: Nigeria is ours... Hausa/Fulani is the only entity keeping Nigeria as a Country.... So Nigeria is our, and you don't expect an owner to abandon his belonging and go..... hope this answers your question. |

ericsmith:Sorry.. We have able and capable men that can take care of it we need no herdsman to help us. Everyone pay import duties but in the case we pay for our good. At least it frees us from Buhari 'RUGA' and save the farms of our Farmers. So just shut up 1 Like |

Re: RUGA, Ranching: Akwa Ibom State Government Imports 2000 Cows From Brazil by Yyeske(m): 9:26am On Aug 02, 2019 |
NGpatriot:You just said my mind, many feel RUGA is about giving Fulanis the land of the locals to breed their cows. All the state government would've done was taking advantage of the money set aside by the FG for RUGA, build their ranches and other stuff, import semen from cow species abroad that that they feel can produce more meat and milk to inseminate our local specie and the job is done. We are already having our 'Efi Igbo' in Anambra today, no import of any kind, very many Anambrarians are into rearing of cattle but not the Fulani style. Tomorrow you'll hear how many billions was used for this importation. |
