Coz it feels those FC UK calls are indecipherable to the African Ears and totally annoying. We keep wasting our tokens everyday on those calls coz of their dominance on the platform.

If u are new on qa and u are still struggling with 2's and 3's, I won't advise u to pick any fc uk call. With time, when u get better and start getting back to back 4's and 5's then u can just decide that this week the only calls i'll pick will be fc uk calls. Before u know it, after like 1 to 2 weeks u'll start getting used to it.

I don't work on CLH calls till now because it's just not worth it. At least fc uk, their pay is higher than normal...

It wasn't really rubbish. I just transcribed what I thought I heard. I'm sure the reviewer empathized with me. It was really ridiculous, felt like slapping the customer through my screen.
Thank God for small mercies.
Lmao... Just wanted to slap the customer on my screen.

This was my problem when I first started, especially with Bleep calls.
I'll be like "guy, what are you saying". It was really annoying.
I dey avoid them like plague.

I make use of it whenever I'm using my phone. I don't type with it, I just use it because of the esc key.
Thought as much. That keyboard, I wonder how guys excel in it. No wonder I haven't used a phone in like 4 months.

Kudos, bro. How many of those FC UK calls do you normally do, on average, in a day?

I was working on a call about 10 minutes ago. I couldn't hear the customer. she had this bedroom voice and I had exhausted all my release tokens. I got angry and started transcribing rubbish. Guess what, I was rated 5. lol. unbelievable

*coughs* It is well.
Have you been getting 5's though?

So, this was what Arlene was talking about initially. That Africans are the ones mostly giving bad returns.

This must be one of the reasons we can't get into Rev. cry

You think? Because, I've even copied the audio from YouTube, yet, not successful...

How can u distinguish between the FC UK calls and others ? Even the 1minute and 2-3 minute calls I do pick most times are all FC UK calls.

you have to just open your mind to it.

Even if you run away you'lll still have to do it one day.

Better to get your low ratings and get used to the calls than to get high ones and return back to low rating.

We did this analysis some pages back. A "good" 5min call is usually alloted 1hr, 30mins to be transcribed. Use this rule to pick calls wisely.

Don't mind him. Why not let the time run instead of submitting a bad job. That's an attitude that ruins business.

The customer's voice was really low. I didn't transcribe rubbish. Just did what I could hear. I didn't invent words or that sort. I'm really careful with my stuff.
Well, good to hear this. Setting a bad precedent ruins stuff for everyone.

You were lucky. The customer care agent was meant to ask you what type of card you wanted before filling the form. You may still need to chat them up online or go back to them to find out the spending limits on your card so that there are no issues down the road. Hausadreturn responded from his own angle of experience.

Let's set this straight to reduce our trips to the banking hall and disappointments online. If you tell the CS rep you want an Africard and he/she does not ask you which one, tell him/her you want the international one with the higher spending limit. If he/she looks at you like your talking FC accent abeg shift to the next customer rep to avoid stories that touch.

Not all the staff have in-depth knowledge about this. I also had my experience with them where a staff member told me to go pay into my account first before the card can be processed.

They also charge for the cards so you incur costs if you are given the wrong card.

Hope this helps.

I just noticed in the email transaction alerts I do recieve.
It says international high -personalised

Good day everyone, I just came across this platform today. I created a QA account and passed everything stage.

I have an issue with creating a PayPal account. I used a MTN sim, it keeps telling me something is wrong.
Also, what should I paste into the PayPal account section on the QA site? Thank you for your response.
