Why wld someone use dropcatch to catch a Geo-domain n then price it close to $200. is dropcatching now getting cheaper because i can't get a sense of this business model?

Your own better. I thought I was dreaming when I saw $97 on a geo domain I wouldn't sell less than 300. Guy didn't even factor in dropcatch cost

Think he did that in order to make sure he contacted the right owner. There exists some unscrupulous ppl that go around selling domains not in their possession. They call it front running. They contact the possible buyer,agree on price,then contact you to buy at lower price. All while fronting as the legitimate owner. Seen a case on NP like that

In my opinion, I don't think you need to call him yet, he's doing his due diligence and will come back to you if it checks out you're the true owner of the domain.

It's simple... You bought your domain on Dynadot with privacy. He contacted the email on the whois look-up (which is that of dynadot) thinking that's your contact email, then dynadot decided to forward the message they got to you. Note your contact email is not displayed given a whois look-up if you buy a domain with privacy.

then register accounts with DAN and afternic, upon completing your registration click on ADD DOMAIN and you follow the steps thereafter. You can only sell at Godaddy after paying $5 membership fee which you can do away with for now.

All depends on you,
If you want to call him yourself, use the methods dropped on this thread,one was still dropped yesterday. Or find someone on namepros to help you out.

By the way try using this format dropped by someone here,In my case I added a line containing namesilo customer care telling him he'll get more concise info on the domain esp relating to transfer technicalities.. You sha get. All he needs is to confirm the authenticity of the deal

Too bad. I just received an offer via godaddy brokerage for a domain i registered last month on dynadot, i jus knew it must come to transfer out las las.. First it ws 120, i didn't respond, now 150. I just de look the $150 de waste, knowing nothing can be done until next month when the domain will be available for transfer.
Godaddy now has account at every registrar... so 60 days lock does not affect it.

What was the notification you got? if it's about Afternic fast-transfer just ignore it, it will continue till your domain is 60days old, then your domain registrar will send you an email that you can use to opt-in.
