In addition, Igbos warned Afonjas about Buhari considering his history was there to teach everyone the kind of man he is. They, out of their political myopic that they decieve themselves as sophistication as well as their greed, brought him in. So why the Bleep should Igbos join Afonjas to fight a man they shouldn't have given power the first time if they actually used a quarter of their senses and listened to the warning?? They thought they were smart and that same stupidity they constantly display have revolted and created a giant. They should enjoy the demon they voted in due to their stupidity. They brought him in despite all the warning, they deserve whatever he does to them.

You are just letting emotion and hate overcome your thinking. Buhari would have dealt with a similar protest in the North the same way. Abi Zakzaky and his Shiites followers are no longer Northerners? Yet because you hate Yorubas and want the worst to happen to them you have quickly concluded "Igbo warning" has come to pass and PMB is now dealing with Afonja.

We are to believe you that Buhari is moving personally against Yorubas yet they are strongly represented in his government to the extent he personally intervened to ensure Gbajabiamila became speaker against PMB's fellow Northerner? You guys logic never ceases to amaze me. Wonder why Yoruba leaders are not supporting Sowore? Go and figure it out.

They come online to claim Igbo's are united because of their block vote pattern forgetting there is more to voting.

For all those idiots shouting up and down on this thread, let me tell you a story.

This happened during February's election.

In my local government, we allocate certain appointments and scholarships to people of various ethnicities; whether PDP or APC, Igbo or Urhobo.
It's how we've been doing things for a while now until PDP broke the mold leading up to Jonathan's election. We only had one Igbo woman in my entire village, and I can categorically say she has benefited the most from Buhari's election; her son on scholarship, two daughters got jobs, her husband also got a job.

These were slots that were given to just her hoping she can be a pillar of support for all Igbo's in the local government; it was all politics. Did you know she was the only Igbo that voted for Atiku in the local government?

This was a woman that was given other Igbo's slots because she was the only Igbo who commanded up to four votes in the village (she was the only one in the village but not the local government).

After the election, questions were asked, and her ridiculous answer was that "peter obi is my tribe, I can't vote APC, but I'll vote for you in the governorship election."

Looking at this scenario should give Igbo's an idea of how Yoruba people see them.
It may be just one scenario, but it is not the only one that followed this pattern.

To the average Yoruba man, "if you give an Igbo two out of two children, he/she will still want your wife." The Igbo's have repeatedly demonstrated that their tribe comes first in anything; this is actually a bad thing because it blinds them to their own flaws.

My advice to your people is to think well about the difference between going to school and being educated. One gets you a certificate, the other gets you the ability to think critically and without bias.

Sowore's revolution is not a Yoruba revolution!!!!

I'll repeat it again. Sowore's revolution is not about Yoruba's!!!

That man is from my local government, and he only won his hometown. This is not because he is not a good choice, most people (me included) simply realized that we were not obligated to vote for a man that had not visited his home for years., simply on the basis of ethnicity.

Sowore lost the election; Yes!!!
Sowore met with Kanu in London; Yes!!!
Sowore is likely being sponsored by foreign interests; yes!!
We need a revolution; Yes!!!
Sowore should lead the revolution; No!!!
The government was right to arrest him; No!!!

There are thousands of little questions like those that influence who supports him. Make your decisions based on these facts and not on whether he is Yoruba or Igbo.

I am a Yoruba guy, and I say categorically that Sowore is not for me.

The way some of you reason baffles me.........The people you were referring to are the Yorubas if I guessed well. Now let me tell you something you might not know today Out of the three majors....Hausa ,Igbo and Yoruba, Yorubas are are the only ones who vote based on their conscience and belief and not by bandwagon effect like the igbos and Hausas..a Yoruba man may opt for Mr A,his wife will opt for Mr B ,his children will opt for Mr A or B....etc this is evident in their culture where everyone is free to practise any religion.....even in a nuclear and extended family u see Christian, Muslim and traditional worshippers without any hatred towards each other. Yorubas are educationally and politically sophisticated, that's why in any election ,votes are always divided in the southwest....... Its very silly for Igbo's to repeatedly blames Yorubas for voting APC knowing fully well that the votes are divided between PDP and APC........Why do Igbos hate Yorubas this much ?

Are you guys all insane? When have Yorubas begged you to join them in any fight? You guys are nonentities and no one is begging you for anything. All I see is a people desperate to feel important because they have been sidelined, due to their own actions, in the serious affairs of Nigeria and her governance. Pray tell, what fight is the Yoruba fight? Sowore's fight? Adeyanju's fight? FFK's fight or Fayose's fight? You guys are so deluded it is not funny anymore.

You people don't understand Yorubas and you never will yet you keep commenting on our affair. Only Igbos will classify Sowore's antics as "Yoruba fight". When they jailed Adeyanju many Yorubas actually wanted him to remain in jail because we are not clannish like others. Do wrong and bear the consequences . Don't expect blind backing from your Yoruba kinsmen. We don't do that. It is you guys who are famous for that.

Candid talk always bro. Imagine an Igbo saying Yorubas have no ideology. If anyone will level that claim against the Yorubas it must never be Igbos because they embody lack of ideology more than any other of the major ethnic groups in Nigeria. How many Igbos could do what Tinubu, Fayemi, Akande, Aregbe and many others did staying the course against the onslaught from the PDP from 1999 till the APC merger finally ousted them in 2015? Have Igbos achieved anything similar in contemporary Nigerian Politics? This is why they hate Tinubu and his compatriots. Ideology and dedication to the cause 100%.

Igbos will jump ship in second in pursuit of their personal ambition even if that bring down the Party they leave. How many times did PDP woo Tinubu? He never joined them because of ideology. Meanwhile Peter Obi went begging to be admitted into PDP when he felt APGA was finished. He never stayed to fight and build the Party up. This is why I label Igbos the biggest hypocrites in Nigeria. What they are most guilty of they accuse others of. Nauseating to read.

Incorrigible rants... Wetin concern the discourse of my point with Asari Dokubo? same Asari that claims to be Biafran and wouldn't spare any chance in lambasting your people when he wants? very vacuous reasoning from you. I dare you to mention all the indices of achievements attainable- both global or local, that has any bloody Yoruba dominating the Igbos!! (please list them out now)and let's start to compare. Thank God for facts and figures, your unassailable delusions will be bursted in just a matter of minutes... gone are the days when your Ibadan expressway propaganda held sway. You guys are just purveyors of noise making, I'm glad you recognized the fact that your region was stuck in the oasis of opposition for years, most notably because you were sidelined from the corridor of power SIMPLE. Even the Obasanjo that enjoyed two consecutive terms rode on the back of Igbo votes, you people have never been genuine power brokers in the political equation in Nigeria and larger scheme of things , just pretenders who hid behind opportunities to somehow get a sniff at power(Fulani dey use una brains dey play ten-ten just to consolidate their gains on the orbits of power), sane scenario will play out again come 2023. I maintain that you facetious bastards are the weakest link in the South, you are the only people from the South to lose a whole territory to the Fulani, only region to have its most notable leaders killed by the Fulani junta without doing, anything, your useless ape of a leader called Tinubu is ready to kiss Buhari's aSS even while his region has been taken over by Fulani herdsmen, I could on and on. You idiots have never stood for anything, absolutely nothing! that's why it's easy for the Fulani to hold sway over the rest of the country cause you sell-outs will always pander to them when they want power like miserable kittens, and then get crumbs as usual. The Igbo man will continue to be your eternal nightmare, look at these clown daring to call his pathetic tribe top tier, I laugh in mandarin grin, you people are the biggest joke ever, you've got nothing to fall back on when Sh1t hits the ceiling, besides empty noise of "sophistication", and all that nonsense.

Another noise, party politics is mutually exclusive to a broader definition of having an ideology, stop been an idiot for a good second and think of what a true ideology means in the context its been posited to you. Nobody cares about power-grubbing and self-seeking politicians who are just concerned in stuffing their pockets, that's not definitive of what an ideology stands for. Igbos have always wanted and maintained one principle, and that is outright separation from that sinking ship called Nigeria (they have fought, bled, and died) for that principle in contemporary times, and the consciousness of the Igbo nation has always been focused of seeking its own destiny. Your people on the other hand, are just pure inhibitors, every sane "Nigerian" is tired of Nigeria and wants out except the North for obvious reasons, the yorubas are just a bunch of devious mo.rons who are content been stuck in the quagmire, while playing second fiddle to the North just to get grumbs at the very fuccking end. You people are the cancer to the progressive mind, and need to be cut off fast before the ripple effect infests the others who stand for something.
