Please what do they do after studying, come back to Nigeria?
justwise:

I'm not sure you know what you are talking about, do you know when the UK stopped work after study and the number of foreign student still coming to the UK to study?

Can you compare it to before? It's reducing drastically as people are getting more enlightened. I'm sure you remember me lol

Lol chill. I already did my research properly and chose UK over Manitoba then in 2016. Wanted to grab a British degree ASAP and move to Canada. Going to Canny with a British degree will give me an edge in the job market.

Yeah bruv. I applied on the 14th of July from the UK. Biometrics on the 16th. Biometrics completed on the 19th. The average processing time is 2-3 weeks from the UK. This is the third week, so hopefully decision go land this week. Or by next week, I go query them small Again my financial documents are from Nigeria, maybe that's why it's taking this long.

Hello Good evening all,
Please a friend of mine applied for Study visa last year but was rejected.
Does she need to do another medical this year ? because she reapplied last month.
Her agent is telling her she doesn’t need to, is that true ?.

Thanks.

APPLICATION REFUSED

@ makano frankrobbn justmellow ralfudoh and all other Gurus in the house who understand this note attached below can share.

My study visa application was refused June 28th last two months and I immediately requested for gcms note that is attached in the image.

Timeline
Application submitted - May 30th
Background Check - June 7
Review of Eligibility - June 25th
Final decision - June 28th

On 26th of June I received Biometrics validation correspondence, so I kinda knew what was next.

BASIS OF REFUSAL
Just one reason was stated in the refusal notice which was based on PERSONAL ASSETS AND FINANCIAL Status.

Immediately I saw the refusal, I contacted the school for a deferment to winter intake which unfortunately was not available, they have just one intake for the 1year fall program. They guaranteed admission but I just have to pay application fee, University of Prince Edward Island. It's was difficult for me getting an admission to different schools applied to because of my GPA of 3.3/5.

Now I am looking forward to securing admission for winter intake which has bin challenging.

Documents/Funds Submitted include - Birth certificate, siblings document, parents documents, letter from Dad (Sponsor), landed property documents, my nysc certificate, British project management academy certificate, CAC documents for Sponsors business, my employment letter and other necessary documents.

Financials
Total funds needed - Tuition and other expenses - $7,800CAD
My account closing balance - #5,000, 000
Sponsors closing balance of naira account - #10, 000,000with domicilary account of $15,000USD

How can this note be addressed. Thank you, further clarifications can be enquired.

Depends on when the person applied
The medical results are valid for a year
So if it’s less than a year ago she had the test, then yes.. there’s no need

Please can someone direct me to the page number on this thread where I can see the procedure for the application for Canadian Student Visa.

The data I need is how much the student visa fee is?

How much is biometrics?

Any other cost in the student visa application process?

How long does student visa application process take for applications from Nigeria?

Whether it is too late to apply for visa for September 2019 entry.

Someone asked me for this info this morning and I remembered there is a thread like this on nairaland. There are 194 pages on this thread, I would appreciate if someone can direct me to the pages where I can get the answers to this questions quickly. Thank you.

Thanks bro for this info.
on the issue of eligibility for matters after the PGD, can a 10 month pgd that leads to an award of certificate lead to eligibility for masters? The institution is actually saskatchenwan polytechnic.
Also, the C in your PGD/C, is it certificate?
Thanks once again.
JustMellow:

The most suitable program for you is a PDG/C which normally does not come with funding. Prior to the completion of program, then you can be eligible to pursue a Masters program. Most Canadian universities doesn't accept a HND to direct Masters.

You can check out University of Manitoba, University of Saskatchenwan, Memorial University, Simon Fraser University etc

Good luck!
