Well, except village people are running 100m behind such person then they will not have a proof of valid accommodation upon entry into the UK or any country for that matter. The minimum duration of the UK visit visa is 6 months so such person might eventually be able to book a convenient accommodation when they are ready to travel since not everyone travels immediately they get a visa. justwise: |

cuttiee: I think I have answered the first part of your question before? Regarding your last question...that will not be a problem as long as you explain the payment situation in your visa application. |

Good morning my Ogas in the house. Your boy don come again oo. Abeg help me use your 'Ogbon Agba' smiley scrutinize and express your thoughts on the issues highlighted below: 1. I intend to apply for a Tier 2 visa as the main/principal/primary applicant. Can my dependants apply at a later date after mine? 2. If Yes (which I believe it is), must their application be made before the expiration of the primary applicant's COS or can the application made after the expiration? Though I want the best option for all, cash availability is also a challenge, hence the aforementioned questions. NB: Employer is an A rated Sponsor. Thanks Cc: justwise |

From my very little experience 1. Yes your dependents can apply at a later stage 2. Application for dependents can be made at any stage, it does not matter if the CoS expires or not for them. Note :- Try to keep a copy of the CoS doc even though it is expired as you will need some details when you fill your dependents application from at a later stage. Elderss: 1 Like |

Yes your dependants can apply at a later date even if d COS expires. Provided d tier 2 main applicants visa is still valid. But it is always advisable to apply at the same time, especially if your employer is willing to provide the maintainance fund as it is not always easy to save up. Good morning my Ogas in the house. cuttiee: You need to submit evidence of employment, payslips and salary account(6 months of both is the standard) Your company need to give you a letter giving details of the training you are going for and how it will help the company, this training how to relate to your duty in the company. You also need a letter from the company in the UK with details about the training. You don't need to book a flight but you have to provide evidence of accommodation and budget of the trip. |

Thank you. So I do not need to submit the company’s statement of account in any way? Do I need to attach employment letter? Since I am married, will I be required to attach my wedding certificate and family pics in anyway? So sorry for the questions, I just want to be clear at once. Thank you justwise: |

Good evening house. Please I am asking this question for my younger sister. She wants to travel to UK on visit for 10 days with her daughter. Her husband is going to write a consent letter for her to take the child along. My question is this..... Is it compulsory for the husband to attach his international passport page with the consent letter or the consent letter alone is enough because her husband doesn't have international passport yet. Thank you. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by justwise(m): 9:33am On Aug 15, 2019 |
Innopre983: No it’s not. Who will be sponsoring this trip? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Innopre983: 9:47am On Aug 15, 2019 |
Menakay: Okay. Thank you. Please can you help us with a sample of consent letter? What if the husband has not gotten the National identity card but he has the paper registration. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Innopre983: 9:50am On Aug 15, 2019 |
justwise: Our brother in the UK or the mother will sponsor the trip. But the father is not the one sponsoring the trip. Did you mean only the consent letter is good without the husband identity? Thanks. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by justwise(m): 10:42am On Aug 15, 2019 |
Innopre983: Since you will be submitting your marriage certificate and family pictures Internatioal passport is not compulsory, though I suggest your husband add his bank statement where your spending money will come from, e.g.. shopping etc.. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Innopre983: 12:58pm On Aug 15, 2019 |
justwise: Thank you sir. The husband is NOT going with them and he is NOT sponsoring the trip in anyway. The wife will be the one to sponsor the trip. The wife earns 250k monthly and her expenses is £900 for the trip. Her monthly expenses as stated in the form is 32000NGN. |
