Good day everyone, please for those that have gone thru TUM application before. I saw a couple of courses open for summer 2020. My question is, does TUM allow application into multiple courses? (I know some schools dont allow it). Thanks

Sorry about the refusals. We all have our stories. Life hits us hard getting up is the real deal.
You need to get your priorities right. If you are interested in studying in Germany then You’re in the right place. You just need to read through the thread not doing so is a diservice to your self because trust me everything you need is contained here.

What kind of schorlaship do you have. Would you like to elaborate more on that? You usually won’t block if you have a schorlaship already.

Nobody expects you to send in the original copy of your EPL. It's the photocopy that you send to Schools. You should go ahead and certify it.

Thank you! Imagine, I have been sending originals

please nairalanders, If tuition fee is required per semester and the Masters programme consists of 3 semesters, are we required to pay the tuition fees for the 3 semesters before being issued visa or even before gaining admission.

All you need to get the visa is an admission letter issued from the school. School fees being paid has nothing to do with your visa.( it could come up as a question during visa interview though, but it has minimal effect)

Some schools would request you pay half or full of the 1st semester fees before issuing your admission letter . I doubt any school asks for the full 3 semesters fees. All in all depends on your school though.

The internet is the right place to start. Check Daad too. You can also see some Non governmental schorlaships here. https://www.mastersportal.com/articles/1728/best-student-scholarships-for-a-masters-degree-in-germany-
in-2019.

Once again i need to reiterate the importance of reading through this thread.

viel Glück

1. When do you plan on writing the exam? The last A1 exams for this year at the Goethe Institute is in October
2. If you're planning for October and assuming you have zero knowledge of German presently, then it's tough but possible. You don't need to pay for language school at A1 level, you can learn on your own if you are serious and committed

Sassy, what of A2? Can it be learnt via self-study?
