Somebody please say something.
I need help ...
Biritiko:
Good day everyone.
I am a freelancer, and also a student of National open university of Nigeria .
Recently, one of my clients that I’m working for, turned friend, wants me to come to the U.K. for a holiday sometime. And he’s willing to host me in his house and sponsor everything.
So, I want to know if getting a visa is feasible for me.
If yes. What are the conditions I need to meet?
I’ve never travelled before. And I’m just in my early 20s.
I’ve been following, and reading through this thread for sometime too.

Hi everyone
Please i need your advice and what am going to do to be able to grant another two years uk visa. Have been two years visa which expired April 2019. During my visit I stayed up to five months on each trip to UK which I traveled for three time during my last two years visa. Now am intend to apply for another two years visa but the problem is that i stayed up to 5 months on my each trip. Please what can do or document to prepare for to be able to grant another visa. Have taken two years visa twice. Please kindly help with any usef

What did you say you wanted to do in the last visa and for how long? Staying 5 months on each visit, you might need to explain what you were doing for that periods. But e get as e be. You stayed for 15 months from the 24 months given; you need a detailed explanation because its not interview where you can explain verbally.

Wow 15 months within 2yrs and you ain’t questioned at POE. Well ECO will only know how long you stayed if you have departure and arrival stamps on your passport. Some people do avoid the actual date stamps if they have overstayed, only you know your situation. Also I hope you ain’t stamped at UK airport at any point?

You gonna need a very strong convincing reason to say to the ECO why you stayed that long, well nothing is in impossible. You could be lucky the ECO won’t pay attention to it.

Wish you luck with a good convincing genuine reason you gonna give the ECO

Hello Justwise.
Pls I need your help urgently.
justwise:

Congratulations!!
Pls I am travelling to the UK on a tier 2 visa and resuming on the 6th of September.
I just had a baby and I have asked my brother in law who is on a tier 5 visa and relocated April this year to invite my mum.
Now he has provided all the supporting documents from his side.
But my mum is a caterer who has a small catering school where she teaches about 4 to 5 students per set.for a while, she teaches students and sells some snacks In the school.thats where her source of income is from.
She owns a landed property but hasn't gotten the C of O of the land yet (gotten from the Omonile pple).
She is married and my dad is a pastor.
The total money right now in her account Balance is 370k which she got from her business.
Recently, after filling her visa application form, she was employed on a part time basis to teach in a big catering school at Ajah.
The problem now is this, will it be a good idea to include her employment letter as part of her supporting documents, since it wasn't first included in the application letter ( cos she was self employed then and has not earned any salary from this new employer)
I don't want anytime that 'll complicate her chances of getting a visa.
Thank you.
Pls this is urgent.

Add a note about the latest change in her employment and attach evidence to support that. you need to explain that she got the job just after making the visa application.

Google the locations with the available cheap hotels they have, what date are you travelling ? How much do you have to spend on hotels for 14days?

September 11th , on hotel 100k

Thank you all for your response am very grateful but who can advise me what exactly document or letter to provide. They ask questions at POE but I told them I decided to have enough rest that is why I stayed so long and they allowed me for second time.

September 11th , on hotel 100k

100k like £220 pound for 14days probably 15per night for 14days, you can’t find £15 per night hotel anywhere in London. You can get a hostel, where 3-5 people will be in the room. Alternative is getting a home owner with a spare or shared room. At POE you still need to present your accommodation docs or only if you are staying with someone.

If you need hotel you have to increase your budget to £50 per night at least, London is very expensive.

If you don’t have budget for hotel, Don’t you have family and friends you can stay with ?

Ogas,
i applied Vistor Visa on 15th July and
received "concluded" email on 29th July,
now it pass 3weeks and there is no update from UKVI/TLS.
i have even called them , sent them e-mail and they escalated my application on 7th August. this week also i called them and they said you will be contacted by TLS very soon.
i have opted for "Keep My Passport" service.

please advise ogas, because 3weeks after the decision made is very much unusual.

Writing a letter isn’t a problem but what you wanna tell ECO about your 15months stay its what is important, people only give legal advice here. You just have to be smart for yourself.

Well you didn’t breach the immigration law so you should be alright.

TBH I don’t think they do ask how long you stayed in previous travel, think the form only asks you how long you wanna stay for the proposed travel. What matters is you are back and you didn’t overstayed.

Not your first time application, you should know the docs you need to submit. Good luck

You have been eating naija food for years you must as well try new food. It depends on the area you are planning to stay. Hotels in Hounslow are not too expensive. I stayed in Ibis hotel in Hounslow before, not too bad. You will also enjoy the street food across the hotel. Asda store is like 8 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Also supermarket is by the hotel

From the look of things, the ECO think and concluded that you won't be coming back with the two grown ones.

It's a pity that this is the way they reason and think sometimes. Now this is the test, if you don't travel now with what you have, it will look as if you have a motive.

My advice is, travel, come back and make a fresh application for them, this time addressing that ground of refusal, writing a consent letter and adding more evidence like family pictures, mostly there school graduation pictures with you or your husband, I mean something that connects you all together.

Because, the truth is, contesting the decesion is very expensive, except you have money in excess to spend.

Let's see if we get more expact and pro. contribution.

Yeah you are right, that’s absolutely not true. The ECO will know when you enter and exit UK as these are automatically logged on their database. You won’t be given exit stamp from the UK.

It's not really about your sponsor, it is mainly your tie to nija... Do your own research, make a list of what tie you, what are the things that will convince the ECO that you will return.

Bro... Job and family na very big tie o...
All the best.

The new form is going to ask you how long you stayed. You will be asked date of arrival and date of departure for all your previous visits.

The truth is immigration rules are security is changing so fast. Your 15months is much oh. From my angle, how old are you and what you do for a living with determine.

All the best.
