No. It is not needed for visa application. But ensure the two docs have your school stamp and signature. If the docs are for admission purpose, and the school asks you to notarize or attest them - just do what they want.

Good evening house,

I applied for a Tourist Visa through the French Embassy to Netherlands since July 02, no response from the Embassy after sending them a mail twice regarding my application. What could be the possible reason. My travel date is 27th August.

Is thus there way of handling Visa app?

Well, it depends on the school and program. For some schools, you'd need proof of Engligh proficiency while for others, it is not required. If you can get a certificate from your school stating that English was the language of your undergraduate study, then you may not need any other proofs.

The French schools are stubborn and they decline application for no just reason. Imagine that I applied for Master program (M1 General Physics) and it was rejected because of unsuitable undergraduate studies. Lol, with a B.Sc in Physics and Astronomy while most of their undergraduate studies over there is just for 3 years, ours is 4 years. Their M1 curriculum was covered in our final year, so for schools like University of Grenoble, they take you for M2 after looking at your transcript.

My point is that you never can tell the mood of the person assessing your application

For students that applied through Lagos Consulate, we have info and reason to believe that student visa applications are delayed because someone responsible for such visa is on leave and the consulate is working on getting a replacement. As odd as it may sound, it is true, so anyone who applied for a study visa in Lagos may have experienced some delays.

In Abuja, study visa applications are processed in one week.

Yes but even with scholarship, those that submitted their passport in vfs Lagos are yet to get it back. Some are getting to a month already.

You know someone who is a scholar and hasn't gotten his passport after 2weeks?
Some of my colleagues who submitted in lagos with scholarship have gotten a response.

All PTDF Scholars who used the Lagos Consulate are yet to get a response. They were told that the person responsible is on leave.

The Embassy told them or Campus France said that? I was at the same event where the statement was made. What he said was that some of the VOs are on leave, that's why it's slow. It's not specifically PTDF scholars. Afterall, someone who submitted this August just got a pick up message last week and Many who submitted early of July have not gotten a response.

So I think its selective and not because someone in charge isn not available

Hello gurus,

please I made a mistake submitting the hotel reservation I cancelled instead of the one I filled out in my application.

Should I be worried or is there any solution?

Thanks

I asked questions here; nobody answered my questions. Anyway, I picked my passport today with Visa.( 2 months, Mult, 30 days stay)

I submitted letter from my employer, bank statement, insurance, flight reservation, accommodation( I made mistake her, submitted the one I cancelled and was unable to submit the correct one), copies of my visas. No cover letter. Submitted and Biometric July 31st, Picked today because of Eid holiday. Purpose is Tourism.

Good luck to others
