If you are waiting for your passport pickup, it’s possible that it is ready for collection but on the vfs website, it may still be showing Canada office. I experienced this and just wanted to let someone know should in case you are still waiting for your passport pickup. It took five days for mine to be uploaded on the vfs portal meanwhile it had been ready for collection in the five days.

Am done after msc my bro, PhD was part of my plans before coming here but my orientation has changed, my eyes don open shocked. it disadvantages outweighs it advantages grin I will be shooting myself in the leg if I decide to go for it. It's ok for those coming directly for PhD but if you are coming for master's and you still want to pursue PhD, you have to think twice and 1st be certain about what you want. lipsrsealed

Good day guys, please my uncle wants to stand in for me as sponsor in my Canadian Visa application, he lives and work in the US. What documents does he need to give me for the application. Thanks House
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by naijalodge(m): 11:32am On Aug 19, 2019
Alright boss, really appreciate.
BlessedOBA:

I can’t really say for sure how much your co-sponsor should have in his/her account since they apparently don’t have much. There are some other factors that might come into play here like; how many people are depending on your co-sponsor? Is he or she married with kids? Etc

I suggest the co-sponsor should expedite a transfer of at least 10k CAD (for your living expenses regardless of the fact that you don’t need it) to you and thereafter, write a letter of co-sponsor indicating why he/she is supporting your education. I think that would suffice. Other knowledgeable people can throw more light on this if you still need further clarification.

Please when you do upfront medicals, do you upload the slip or wait for the clinic to send to CIC?

2. Must every student have at least $10K per year during a 2 years program? Please explain

Hello badboy92,

Yes, its compulsory but at most, just the first year LE is required to be shown when processing your application.

All the best!

I think it’s high time to send a web form to cic, my medical has been reading without doing medical or gotten a medical request. Someone should send me the link to all the countries handling Nigeria applications.

Good morning everyone, no body seems to give answers to my questions and I Am planing to start my application this week.

1. I need someone to help me review and vet my SOP and LOS.

2. I want to ask if the LOS and SOP really need to be signed by my sponsor.

3. Please I want to ask if I can add an employment letter attached with letter of study leave for 2years without a payslip.

The LOS should be signed, while the SOP could either or not be signed. Its good to show your employment letters and source of funds evidence even if payslips isn't avail. Maybe others can help on question point 1.

All the best!

Good day house.
Please I need advice.
I open a business name in support of my application it's over 2 month now the certificate is not out, so am thinking of using the approval mail from CAC which shows the RC number and the company name.

Check for schools like - Conestoga College, Centennial College, Humber College, Cambrian College and Fanshawe College. I would suggest you go for a post graduate diploma/Certificate program that is reasonable in light with your previous studies/current job role this shows a logical progression than an Advanced Diploma.

Conestoga,Centennial,Humber,Fanshawe, i dnt think they have PGD in ICT but they have it in Diploma and Advance Diploma.
