That was people on Chinese Version with Global ROM with a fake Unlocked bootloader. I use the same version, I updated without problem.

From my research on XDA people says this new update is very good.

On your theme app search Aafont, click more, you will see fonts to choose from. Mine is Skate Sonic.

You can also search Moby fonts and free for other options.

My phone takes some frustrating 7-10 seconds to wake when I use any of the three methods (fingerprint, power button or double tap on the screen). It wasn't like this before. I thought maybe it's some apps I installed recently. I uninstalled them but it didn't change anything.
It happens when the screen has been off for a while (sometimes just for 3mins). What could be wrong?

Turned out it was my memory card. I removed it and inserted it again thrice before it was rectified. I also updated all my system apps. Cc: jboixxx GrandMufti

Suntrsi. I think it was the phone though cos it wasn't reading the mem card at first though my other phone picks it up immediately.

Redmi 7 is on 10.3.4.

And it is not about the version number but the features they bring to your own device irrespective of the number.

I will still be a little more patient before updating, meanwhile you talked about 'global rom with fake unlocked bootloader'- I'm on global rom(still on android 8 ) how do confirm if the bootloader is well unlocked?
