I will still be a little more patient before updating, meanwhile you talked about 'global rom with fake unlocked bootloader'- I'm on global rom(still on android 8 ) how do confirm if the bootloader is well unlocked?

One method is through ADB, Olayinkajnr posted the steps sometime ago. Are you using Chinese Version (MEE7S)?

Is your OEM Unlocking greyed out under developer options? Check.

You shouldn't have a problem. Did you do OTA from MIUI 9 to MIUI 10?

It came with MIUI 9 and Yes I did an OTA update to MUI 10 back then. I guess am good to go, Thank you very much.

mind you, you'll need to switch your data on in order for the lyrics to be displayed. In addition, you will need the premium version of Musixmatch for the lyrics to be saved offline; else, you'll have to always switch your data on in order for the lyrics to be displayed.

This is the first time I'd be using a Xiaomi device(Redmi 3 Pro). It's cool and kind of odd when people ask you the kind of phone you Use and you say Xiaomi (most people do not know jack about it).
I just want we using this device regardless the model to meet here and share tips on how to get the best out of it eg. Rooting, unlocking, flashing, Upgrading, etc.

Tap your MIUI Version under about phone till you see you are now a developer then go to additional settings, you will see developer options there
