Hi guys, trust we all are fine.

Below are the interview questions asked yesterday 18/09/2019.

As soon as I saw Mr Paulinus, I knew he was the one. Very disciplined man and an advocate of do as I say. Stick to document arranging pattern already mentioned here and you will be fine.

Atimes we are our own architect of problems, met a fellow that morning that had her CV being typed that morning, she doesn't even know she need a motivation letter until she was told by the cafe guy. I showed her from my sample and I hope she didn't copy word to word. I wonder how much those hustlers must have made from her.

Small advise to those awaiting interview, read others experience and make straight your plans ahead of time.

Now to the questions asked;

Course?
School?
What do u know abt Germany?
Bsc Thesis? I know to write out cos she had tough time with my terminologies.
Plans after study?
Why not English speaking country?
Why this course?
Why not in Nigeria? Told her abt little or no funding in Materials Science and how no Nigerian university currently does not have one of the latest instruments needed in Material research. I think VO agreed with me and nodded her head in pity. Moreover, she is a Nigerian I think so she feels the pain.

In all she didn't allow me talk much, she kept cutting me in between. I even tire sef and was unhappy..I was like madam allow me talk na in my mind oo. grin

She repeatedly announced..fund oo, why didn't u fund before coming...fund ooo, u guys will come for interview without funding..when will u fund? She was particular abt funding.

If u have the fund pls fund before going for interview.

I asked her what's the exact state on the increment on the block account. She referred me to the document I signed, she said go and read it.

That's it my people. Godspeed to us all.

Congratulations to you!!!

Guys I'm really happy about my AM. I can't contain my joy butbi feel a little unhappy cuz I posted it here and no one even tot to celebrate with me. I celebrate with other people and always contribute in any way I can so far.

I tot AM was the real deal given that that's everyone's aim here but I guess it doesn't matter. I still thank God and thank you all for your contributions. I will post my Full testimony soon.

Well this is funny.

You Don get AM be say u don get AM.

Celebrating with you or not doesn't change anything

He/she can submit the Employment letter, I did that.. The VO checked through my documents and collected it. So far, it is in your CV
in my experience, submission of employment letter is unnecessary if it hasn’t really been long you left school. Some say it could even “complicate” your application. I didn’t submit even know it was in my CV and everything turned out positive.

Hello guys, I need your help. The embassy mailed me that there's a spelling error in my SL (first name was written as surname). So I will like to know if any other person as encountered this. And does the foreign office issue another?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by vivianobas: 11:05am On Aug 20, 2019
I submitted all my employment letters. My CV carries previous and current job experiences and submitting the letters buttresses your claim. Moreover I don't see how your work experiences will complicate your application if they are genuine. My one cent anyways.

You done do interview/ get AD/AM?
How far online enrollment? I been try enroll but I don’t understand the process. In the direction that they sent with the admission letter, they said that on the platform you’re to click on “studies offered” and under it click on “registration”, but when you click studies offered you only see “application for admission”, which I don’t think is necessary for me because I already have admission. Abeg I go pm you so we can talk more.

I don't know how it will complicate one's application.. So far, it is genuine not forged Employment letter..

Any which way the applicants choose to follow, May we all be favoured!

I guess you will have to chat/talk with your sponsor if it is possible to be issued another one as quick as possible ..

God will help you out!

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Heisenberglos: 1:06pm On Aug 20, 2019
I had my visa interview today. It's been a journey so far and I can't wait to see it through and be in Germany soon. Thanks to everyone contributing their little piece of information here and there, you never truly know how much you are of benefit.

The night before, i went through all my docs one last time, i slept by 12:30am. I woke up before my alarm, by 4:30am, it was raining but that didn't phase me. I left my house 5:27am and could have arrived the embassy earlier but for my driver taking a wrong turn and eating up time. It was scary because my appointment time was approaching fast. In retrospect, I could have been way calmer because I eventually waited for over 2 hours as paulinus attended to a host of attendees. It was a relatively slow process as it was only him sorting documents. He actually omitted me purposely, i was 3rd on the queue, he asked me "what visa are you here for?" and I blanked. I said " long term visa". I was technically right, wasn't I? Lol. Anyways after the hassle, I met the famous lady with purple tipped dreads on counter 2.

She asked:

The name of my previous university?
The program I studied?
Asked me if it matched my current masters and to explain.

University :FUTO
Bachelors : industrial chemistry
Masters: ecotoxicology

Why this course?
I explained the courses relevance to me and skills I will gain and how it matches my future aspiration.

Can you tell me what you know about Germany?
"geographically, it has low lands in the north
And.. "

" No, politically, who is the president? "

I told her (frank Walter) and told her Angela merkel is the chancellor and she asked me if they were both in the same party. I didn't know that. She asked me to mention some of the partys in German govt. I could only remember the Christian party.

When was the reunification?
1990.
What caused the divide?
A conflict of political interest between east and west.

When did it happen?
After the 2nd world War

When did the war end?
... (she gave me a crash course on the time period WW1 & WW2)

What is the capital of Germany?
Berlin

What was the former capital?
Bonn

Can you tell me what you know about Germany geographically?
There is a higher elevation and mountains on the south of Germany in which borders are shared by Austria, France, Switzerland. The..

What do you plan to do after the program?

My country just signed a deal with Siemens electric to increase electric production by 4 folds by 2023. It's a welcome development but such a massive project will impact the environment at different stages of its commencement. I plan to return home to serve a role as a consultant to check the potential harm this massive project can cause by working with Siemens and the govt.

Who is your SPONSOR (SL) to you?
Told her

Na so she come nac me written test o.

Difference btw Na+ and Na
When is a gas ideal
Why is klmn used instead of abcd

I did justice to the first but I wasn't so fluent with the other two.
