You can go ahead and book appointment, use January as start date

Please I have a question. I have a 3.32 CGPA going for Master, which category should I book? A or B

According to what you said above I can use a January start date to book for winter semester right? Enrollment date is October 15. Do I need to get an extension from the school? And if I do what date should I get from them. Sorry for all the questions I just really need help

The new amount is effective from 1 September but during ur interview ur vo might tell u to top up either wen u to DE or wen u are done with ur interview mine vo didn't tell anything only asked me if I have funded then I said yes.

I know it’s not easy lipsrsealed. But to every De hopeful who are preparing for their interviews from next month should endeavor to top up their BA or Block the required 10k as stipulated, to avoid falling prey or stories that touch. If theres anyway you can land in DE before September 1. Then all well and good but if not please comply duely.

A big congratulations to everyone that recently Got their Ad and AMs. Go to DE and excel cool.

I want to take time out to thank everyone contributing to this thread especially miss sassy. She try. I’ll advise everyone to get a copy of those materials she dropped. It’s rich and will benefit us all one way or another. God bless you ma. cool

For those still expectin Al and Most especially Ad. Lets not give up o. The journey isn’t for the weak hearted. God will perfect all that concerns us. Them go celebrate us too.

Try and contact the course coordinator or the international office of your institution to seek for deferment. State and or attach a screenshot (from the diplo site) stating 2019/2020 winter semester is booked out and ask for a new date. Then pray fervently. You can then use the new date to book for a date at the embassy. Then pray again. Above all never give up
All the best

If you're going for winter you must show proof of enrollment extension to the embassy. Don't use a start date you cannot prove. Try and get the extension from your school before you book.
As for date, depends on your school. Some schools will agree to extend while some won't. Some allow you to enrol by proxy ie. You don't need to be present to enrol. Once you're enrolled in a school, you're a student so you can resume anytime. Mail your school and find out if they can extend your enrolment or allow you to enrol by proxy.
But the major thing is that don't book appointment with a start date you cannot prove.

3.32 cgpa is a 2:2 which means you book under Category B.

Yes, your booking is successful. So you chill and wait for your appointment date (AD). The date will be sent to your mail. Although you're late for booking AD because winter dates have become scarce. Just hope and pray you get a date that allows you meet up with enrollment.

There's no problem. She just needs to convince the VO why she chose the course and its real-life applicability. Also because the German education system follows the CONSECUTIVE system (that means what you do for Masters must be similar/closely related to what you did in Bachelors) she may have to explain how theater arts is related to sustainable mobility.

When the category booking system first came out it covered First Class to 2:2. Then later it was changed to just First Class and 2:1. I don't know the exact date it was changed. But if you booked under Category A AFTER the change, you could get bounced. Please does anyone know the date the booking system was changed? Please comment and let's know.
If you booked AFTER the change, I'd advice you to cancel and rebook under the right category. The embassy has a lot of applicants to deal with this period (August/September), someone who had his interview on Monday told me that there were over 70 people for student visa. Paulinus was more cranky than usual (coz he had more people to deal with) and the VOs were also short tempered. Don't do anything that will make them bounce you sharp sharp.

Getting health insurance is not the issue so to speak, as a good number of its task can be done online, but you need to understand what you are paying for, what level of coverage and for how much. Just like Albert Einstein said any fool can know, the point is to understand. Please be mindful of signing contracts, Germans take it very serious and walking out of it most times no be beans.
please help, I need to do my online enrollment before on the 27 of this month and physical enrollment before 23/9. please which health insurance can you suggest for me to use.

In a situation where someone had already enrolled by proxy and the school sent your student ID card and enrollment document by post. But on your AL it was stated that the student should be present at the university on October 1st for matriculation. But your AD is 23rd October. Does the student still need to present extension letter to the embassy for interview. Since he already has his enrollment documents and student ID card.

Bros, you have student ID. which means YOU ARE A STUDENT. That's all the proof you need to show the embassy.
