NwanyiOkpa: No, you can't scan the remmendation letters to MUN. Specifically, MUN's appraisal letter or recommendation letter is custom made. Go to their page were the requirements are stated, you will see the appraisal form. You have to download the form and send it to your referents to open and fill with an Adobe Reader, then after completion, send to MUN. Let me know if you need further assistance on this. Good luck! 1 Like |

Good day everyone. Please , I need some advice . I just got my admission letter but there is a mistake on the date of birth. Just a diff in year. My birth certificate , waec and passport carries the correct date. The admission letter is carrying a year before my date of birth. Can a sworn affidavit be OK for this error ? And hope it won't be an issue as I intend starting up my visa processing soon. I plead for sincere advice . Thanks |

JustMellow:hello Justmellow, please I need your opinion. I have 8 siblings, all older than I am and are all working. Is it necessary to fill the details of all of them? would this raise any concerns for the VO? I'm actually sponsoring myself and intend to use them as home ties. Please what do you think? |

NwanyiOkpa:Be very wise my dear brother, your application will be competing with hundreds of fellow applicants from all walks of life, download it, let them fill it on the system & send it from their university e-mails to memorial university e-mail, that's what makes it official. please do the needful I beg of you. Before you apply for M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering, have you secured a potential supervisor, you really need to do that except your undergraduate CGPA is very high that's when a supervisor will reason your application after submission. prepare a very good statement of intent. Remember M.Eng in memorial university is a thesis based program which requires you to secure a supervisor. You can as well consider MASc & PGD program in Engineering which do not require a supervisor before admission. I wish you the very best sir. 1 Like |

My people, BVL and refusal letter landed today. Deferring admission to the next intake Fall 2020, ordering for gcms notes asap and to reapply Jan 2020. Re-application July 11, 2019 online No upfront medical BVL and refusal letter came in today August 29, 2019. To study @MUN, MASc in Energy Systems Engineering, had BSc in Elect./Elect. Engineering. Four reasons given; 1. Travel history 2. Limited employment prospects in your country of residence 3. Personal asset and financial status 4. Purpose of visit To all our gurus in the house and other friends assisting us here, I say a very big thank you to you all, for your selfless efforts and support. May God bless you real good. vikeb: Hello Vikeb, With haste, send an email to the effect and demand for the re-issuance of a new admission letter to carry the right DoB by telling them you don't want any discrepancies with the rest documents. They will attend to you. Try sending emails to the school's int'l office, admission office, and graduate department. Best of luck! |

pete26: Not necessary. If possible, key in the details of your siblings with good financial status and economic standing. There is no worries. In your SOP, you should state the number of your siblings like this: My siblings are all married and gainfully employed as a Doctor, Lawyer, Banker, Business Executive. All the best! 1 Like |

NuelNuelTT: Soz bruv. Tbh you should have just gone for MEng Electrical Engineering to be on the safe side. Energy Systems Engineers are mainly sought after in first-world countries like Canada. Renewable/Sustainable Energy sector in Nigeria isn't even booming and that's the reason for denial reasons - 2 & 4 above. No one really cares about travel history. Although a different V.O might have assessed your application differently and overlooked your intended programme of study prospects. 3 Likes |
