Hello I am little bit worried I submitted my online application since Monday also payment was made that same Monday account was debited on Tuesday I am still yet to be given any further info about biometrics.... Is it normal?

At times, getting a biometrics call up might tend to take longer than 2 days. Its about a week now, you can send an webform or an email to IRCC attaching a print out of the completion and payment page.

Good luck!

I seriously need your help house. I submitted my application sometime in April dis year but still showing " application in process" up till now. school will be resuming on the 4th Sept. Wat sud I do?

Hello Gunvi,

Its sad to hear about the delay to process your application by IRCC. However, you have two choices:

1. Keep sending both the webform and emails to Nairobi and Lagos, at least, 4x a day. No desperation here.

2. While the bombing is going on, request for your gcms notes, you might discover something (maybe a needed document that the request message wasn't sent) or not.

P.S: you should consider deferring your admission, then send the new admission letter to IRCC even before requesting.

Good luck!

Hello Everyone,

Pls i intend paying visa fee for me and my kid....i will be submitting via paper route..

on their website i saw Visa and Quantity column...do i input 2 in the quantity column and also for biometrics do i input 2...or are we both to pay 170dollars for the biometrics. my dsughter is 5yrs old..Niaja Citizen

Secondly does my US citizen child need to do the Medicals? or where does he come in on the whole process...
I intend applying for 3 of us..my hubby isnt going with
us..

Thanks alot...

If you're submitting via paper route, then you have to make the payment for both the visa and biometrics fees prior to submission at the vfs counter service. You will have to also pay for an additional fees for any accompanying member. Your USC child might need to give medicals depending on how long the child has been in Naija or time away from the US.

Good luck!

The answer is Yes if you have spent 6 consecutive months or more in Nigeria as it's one of the designated countries.

It doesn't matter. Because IRCC as removed all countries from Designated countries. So you can answer whether yes or no. The Designated countries origin (DCO) policy isn't in used again since May 17th, 2019.
