Passport was picked up today at VFS with visa issued.
davide470:
Why did you apply for a visa in July when your travel date is October? That's way too far apart.

I am not a prophet of doom but you might get your passport either mid or late September. Most times, there are exceptions for very frequent travellers who get their passport within 2 weeks of application.

Congratulations. It's better to apply to far apart than to apply not too far apart and I'm happy u got ur passport in late August and not mid or late September as prophesied

Ah Félicitations! The mid/late September theory didn't hold then. Awesome.

If you are in Paris and i am free, we could grab a quick bite at the infamous "African Kitchen". Been a while i ate a local Nigerian meal.

Guys. I sent my application in on 20th of August and I have just received a mail that my passport has been processed. I’m confused. Isn’t it too sudden? I just hope I haven’t been refused. Here is the mail below

Your processed passport ***** has been received at the France Visa Application Centre on and is ready for collection. Incase you have opted for courier delivery, your passport will be couriered to the address provided by you at the time of submitting your application.

Regards,

VFS Global

Which arrondissement would you recommend as central for tourist?

Hey everyone, someone I know applied for a French visa and has been denied. It's funny because this person is over 50 with many years travel experience. And has even been to France itself in the past. She also has a current visa to the US and 10yeats UK visa still valid. And to support this application, she attached property papers and all sorts. And included the official invitation paper they usually issue to French citizens, given to her by her blood sisters with added proof of relationship.

From my own review, it appears there are errors in the application form for example, she wrote 60days as number of days but ticket reservations was for 90days travel return ticket.

Should she appeal or reapply immediately and correct the errors noted. Reason for rejection is number 2. "Justification for the purpose and conditions for the intended stay was not provided. "

Every arrondissement has its own uniqueness and tourist attraction, but the central ones are the 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th.

Was she aware of this before the submission or after submission? If she was aware, did she write a cover letter to explain the error?

Go to any campus France office in Lagos or Abuja or check info on http://taughtie.campusfrance.org/tiesearch/#/catalog

Give France study a chance...your visa is guaranteed. For your course, you can also get a scholarship.

You need to do the digging out of info yourself. Google is your friend. Your search starts now.
