jideflash:
Nothing spoil. Fbnh will surely hold it strong after the storm. Na to find better cash to reload now. My Dear Caverton flight will be a hot chase when the harvest comes. They have solid contracts that will keep them happy for the next four years. So cashflow no go shake. Also their new subsidiaries (Caverton Maintenance Center and The Caverton Training Center) will be a game changer for whole West African region. They are very ready to launch 2020.

Recommendation:
Accumulate between N2.1 or lower

You has spoken well sir.Even without seeing your portfolio know you've got great picks there

Nice one from Access. 25k interim dividend, not bad too.
PAT (2019) 63billion, (2018) 34 billion
Oga na master

People should just move funds here ,so that we can get more uba at cheaper price.

These interim dividends are a pointer to the fact that quite a number of stocks are still healthy on the exchange, but are probably overreacting to the bears and bad economy, hence it is advisable to start positioning gradually at bargain prices for full year div.(capital appreciation will follow join by force grin)

Has anyone had his/her scheme of merger access Bank shares credited to their CSCS?

It(the swap for diamond by the equivalent proportion of access) was done almost immediately DIAMOND was delisted from the exchange.
In principle, the delisting pulled off every OS of DIAMOND from all investor holders CHN(the warehouse) and replaced them with ACCESS @ a 7 for 2 exchange ratio.

So unless, there is a problem with ur A/C or broker, u ought to have been credited with ur equivalent vol of ACCESS long before now.

I'll advise u try comparing the vols of ACCESS u had in ur entire portfolio JUST BEFORE and AFTER the delisting of DIAMOND. ...and see if there was an increment by a 2/7 proportion to the total vol of DIAMOND u held post merger(assuming u had some access prior to then)
Sometimes u may never really take notice of the change in vol.

Alternatively, u can check with ur CSCS statement of A/C just before and after the delisting for proper verification.

Hope this helps.

OGG, I asked because it hasn't reflected on my CSCS though I was paid the cash consideration on 19/07

Then u need to immediately get accross to ur broker. ...they will in turn check with ur CHN to see where the issue lies.
U should've done that before now though.

Good luck !!

Mine did not reflect until I called Morgan Capital. They did the reflection within 30mins of my call.

Maybe the manner in which i was paid!

initially they wouldn't pay the cash consideration unless i fill out the form. I refused to fill out the form (and never did).

my argument - the shares were properly mandated and deposited with CSCS since 2007. Why was I required to to repeat the whole process? Never mind that i am offshore, so physical representation is a non-starter! So I wrote directly to the registrar and presented same argument. He didn't reply, however, about 1 week later I received a few bank deposit alerts for all my share accounts (3 brokers hahaha).

I have always thought that the share deposit would be automatic at some point.

Maybe it is time to open my email again grin grin worse case scenario, i pick up the phone and jand up!

Which number did you call pls?

With the just released H1 2019 result from ACCESS BANK(which majorly inculcated the risk-adjusted impact of asset deterioration from the merger with diamond), it will be BEST to seriously consider having ACCESS in ones investment portfolio now.(if u are yet to do that)

At 1st glance, the H1 financial print shows an all-touching boost accross all revenue and earnings line with a pointer to margins growing at a faster rate than EM at the back of an improving AsQ and AsY.

One thing that impresses me, is the current ACCRUALS RATIO(an analytical tool that aims to gauge the persistence and sustainability of a coys earnings setting aside the risk of a possible manipulation). ...which is especially useful for companies that have just expanded, following from an organic/inorganic growth or have merged/acquired an asset with a perceived low quality.
With ACCESS, current accruals ratio(both from a cashflow and balance sheet perspective) is HEALTHY.

Other KEY financial indicators also paints of a grossly underpriced asset.
Raking off all feasible risk and assuming zero growth to YE, I have a FVE of N15.7 for ACCESS. ...and quite frankly, that would be me been extremely cautious with valuation.

The same can also be said of fellow 1st tier peers, UBA and ZENITH. ...and tier 2 fellows FCMB and FIDELITY.

CAVEAT: This is no license to any sought of recommendation. ...due diligence should still remain ur 1st priority.
My advise: Pls kindly follow ur instinct.

Again, I think it will be BEST to gradually start ACCUMULATING ACCESS BANK now !!

No further comment.

Due diligence still applies as always pls.

With the recent face-off with South Africa, I do not expect any wise person to still be expecting something positive from MTN shares. I see their shares taking a nose dive; some Nigerians are already porting to other network. Beside that, I see their financials dropping negatively.
