This is a job thread, not everyone has the luxury of time to skim through multiple pages of baseless and puerile comments when rummaging for information. We all claim to be graduates, then we should be learned enough to understand the purpose of the thread. That is why there are rules on the platform, that is why there are sections; if you crave salutations and want to meet up, there is a thread for that, if you want to share jokes and troll all day long, there is a section for that! As long as we stick to the purpose of this thread, irrelevant comments WILL continue to be reported.

Yes sir..no doubt your point is valid..I just commented based on what I've seen,where letters of very large quantity needed to be sent out and the oga didn't sign but his signature had already been pre-fabrcated all the admin staff needed to do was to stamp the signature on all the letters..

Good morning, there are signature stamps but you still have to confer authenticity on it by signing on it. Offer letters must bear original signatures esp. for an organization where paper works are still very much the norm.

Perhaps I need to be educated further, has anyone in this forum received an offer from a recognized institution without original handwritten signature? In other words you could tell that the signature on your offer was just stamped on it. Please pray tell. @mosgoon your input may be required because I am sure you have seen several offer letters as a new generation whizkid; maybe I am too old school to have realised that things have changed (scratch that, NNPC still operates old school so my point remains valid)

The Offer letter will come from the GGM HR. It might not even be signed by her but by someone who will sign on her behalf. But it is definitely a human signature no stamp.

No doubt, moderation is key. But when you go about making derogatory statements all in the name of advising someone to be moderate, you expect a friendly gesture in return?

To make someone moderate or correct someone, you have to ridicule the person to restrain him or her? With some persons using some vile and terrible words that many cared not to raise an eyebrow on.

Even some cynics who have one time or the other derailed this thread with trifiles now see themselves to have moral rights to correct others...
