mumnadine:
i read it ,but am still not clear on the amount .

lol....... It stated clearly there and even gave an example using a family in london. Let me copy and paste

MAIN Applicant
The Home Office (UKVI) has set the amount of maintenance funds you need to have available. You must show that you have:
£1,015 per month for living costs if you are studying outside London ........... Times 9 months
£1,265 per month for living costs if you are studying in London ........... Times 9 months

Dependent
If the Tier 4 (General) student is studying on a course based:
• in London you must have at least £845 per month to support yourself; ........... Times 9 months
• outside of London, you must have at least £680 per month to support yourself ........... Times 9 months

Using in London as an example :
For example, a Tier 4 (General) applicant who is applying for leave to study a 12-month course in
London at the same time as their spouse and two children would need to show that they have
£845 per month (up to a maximum of 9 months) for their spouse and each of their children for the
period their dependants would be granted leave if the application were to be successful, in
addition to £1265 per month of their course (up to a maximum of 9 months), required for their
own living expenses. In total, the family will require evidence that they hold £34,200 in available
funds (3 dependants x £845 x 9 months = £22,815 + 1 main applicant x £1265 x 9 months =
£34,200)

He has submitted a form for CAS or so. He has not applied for visa. You won’t understand my situation o cry
Bourne007:
This your level of confusion no get part 2 oo grin. You really need to calm down.

Has he submitted and paid? If not, just amend and he can put in your details. (Obviously with the appropriate maintenance )

If he has however submitted and paid, you will have to wait till he gets his BRP.

There's nothing confusing about this. He's not left yet you are missing him already smiley

Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Bourne007(m): 11:11am On Sep 17, 2019
The situation (as far as you've said) is you having different opinions about applying together or separately unless there's more to it.

If he hasn't, then you can submit together. As simple as ABC

Hi house,

Has anyone here been interviewed for a student superpriority visa? What was the outcome after the interview. I was interviewed on phone and properly drilled. I thought there's usually no interview on SPV?

I’m so confused. As it is now I have to wait till he gets his visa. But I don’t even know if I should apply before he leaves or when he gets to the UK. When will be the best time to apply?
@justwise abeg no vex

Since he hasn't applied for visa then no problem you can apply together but before you do that read about dependant financial requirement for tier 4 visa application

This is very important.

Read first page of this thread.

City University of London: £1,000.
Essex: £1,000.

These schools are for the first part of your question.☝️

For the other part of your question, I doubt any school accepts no payment before or during enrollment (after permitting a £1,000 deposit pre-CAS) especially for International students. You'd have to specify why you require this exact info so that you can get the appropriate advice.

The aforementioned schools accept payment in installments. Additionally, Bournemouth University too (although the deposit is £2,000). I'm sure about Essex & Bournemouth installment plan being in 3 fold: September/October, January, April.

Good luck!
