Please What's the reason for this?

That it’s not allowed. Although they tired to hide it and scaled through the first time, but it was detected the second time and that was it. The PH airport is still new, with effective detecto, and they don’t have much crowd compared to Lagos.

The principle applies to all airports. In my sister's case, she was travelling from Lagos.

Not a must if you're going for an English taught course but highly recommended

It's the customs officials, not the airline
They told her they don't allow it coz it might stain other people's luggage.

First of all, I converted the whole naira using a mallam, he joined me at the bank. Bank verified the euros he brought.
Then, I Deposited the euro into my domi account first,
Then I made bank transfer to the mallam's naira account.

To your questions,

1. I went to bank to make the transfer . "ensure to go with a printed copy of block account details.

2. I waited for Fintiba to confirm that they have received the payment before sending the remaining, took 48hours plus.

3. The Charges they deducted is in the attached image I uploaded earlier with respect to the two transfer.
....as at the time of transfer, I bought 1euro at 409 frm mallam. So, add the charges from the image and do d maths

4. From my euro domi account( I added extra fund to the money)

5. 48hours plus ( time will depend on how fast ur bank process the payment as well)

Goodluck

God bless you. You answered all satisfactorily. May I know the bank you used?

Can you remember the questions asked?

Fabricio07:

They're quite okay.
if you're lucky, you will get easier questions.
it's just that local man has been out of class for few years.

I’m enrolled at ESB Reutlingen. If you have enrolled, then you have no problem. You may just have to start lectures a little too late. However, if it gets out of hand, you may apply for a tuition fees refund.
bigeliot4real:

I share similar experience, I got admitted into ESB Business School, University of Reutlingen for a 1year MBA program in International Management.
I have even paid my fees as I had a deadline to pay in 4days or forfeit my enrollment.

I applied for Visa interview but didn't get a date and I am still waiting, I am supposed to resume 7th October..
I just sent an Email explaining my situation, hoping I could get a good reply on Monday.
Fingers crossed...

Please learn up to at least A2 level. It would help you with everyday interactions within your community - such as buying and paying for stuff, filling forms at the Rathaus, going for an interview, speaking with your colleagues at work, making orders etc... Some times, it’s tough to blend in, especially if your Uni is in a small city. It would help you to get a job too (and to get attended to more quickly)

In addition to my last post, most people who said that they would learn German when they got to Germany have not had time to do so because -

1. Their course work is heavy-loaded.
2. They have to work to raise money.
3. Other stuff which would take their time.

While you are still in Nigeria, it’s the best chance to learn German, because there’s more time at your disposal, and it’s cheaper there.

It’s quite surprising innit .
In my city, I had to pay 226 euros to learn for one month (that was the cheapest learning centre oo. The highest was 740 euros a month) By the second month, I advised myself. Unless you have the patience to learn it within your university (where one module - for eg A1 or B1 lasts for four months), then that’s another route.

On the average, people can afford that. But for an international student (who is apparently managing), that’s a lot of cash lol. Another way, as often advised on here, is to immerse yourself into Duolingo.

As stated by the Embassy ,
Before your friend can book under category A ,
She must be qualified for one of the listed in the attached image below .

IF otherwise , book Under Cat B
