Where do you get this false rant that Innoson doesn't enjoy Government support? The Governments, especially the Federal Government under President Buhari is the single largest buyer of Innoson vehicles. effoi: |

Lagos State was created in 1967 as a merger of parts of Western Region +the old Federal Capital territory. The Old Federal territory which was solely for Administration was limited to Lagos Island, LML, Apapa, Eti-Osa and parts of Surulere LGAs. The other 15LGAs(e.g Ikeja, Shomolu, Ajeromi-Ifelodun,Agege, Badagary, Epe, Oshodi etc) out of 20 Local Government Areas where parts of Western Region. Awolowo/Akintola built Ikeja Industrial Estate. selemempe: |

It is not about others doing nothing. We are the ethnic group that started from nothing. All our progress was wiped out. We built everything we have nw from ground zero. That alone puts us on a different level! dukeprince50: |

Who told you that's the barometer for measuring success? And how many people do this companies you mentioned employed compared to the population of Yorubas? Are you not aware that Ndi-Igbo started afresh from ground zero having lost everything we had in the unjust war Ritchiee: |

oyatz:They may be enjoying a little patronage now that they have become a brand the government can't ignore. You can't compare the support given to Innoson to that of Dangote. Cement importation was banned to give Dangote a near cement monopoly. Next year importation of petrol and petrochemicals will also be banned |

GavelSlam:Its OK to term them the problem of Nigeria, the tarnishers of Nigeria impeccable image, the second class inferior citizens,..but when they reel out facts as to why they are not anything like what you choose to paint them,u bay for blood. When they share incontrovertible facts as to why they deserve a fair play on a level ground,u unroll acid tongues.. |

Earthquake1:Don’t mind the idiat! Ibeto...INNOSON...ERISCO FOODS...COSCHARIS....BRITTANIA-U....The Sun newspapers....etc, aren’t these wholly Igbo owned brands that have lasted the distance!? Igbo businesses have done relatively well considering the jealous, bigoted bastards like the one you quoted who are in gov’t and actively enact, promote and carry out policies aimed at either limiting Igbo success or destroying it completely! |

Bros stop this childish whining. It's unnecessary to be comparing Innoson with Dangote. Importation of cement was banned in favour of local production by Ibeto, Dangote, BUA and West African Larfarge(Ewekoro), so what do you mean by Dangote's Monopoly? effoi: |

Uchek:lol All what you had before were thatched roofs.Igboland was underdeveloped by Igbos themselves because a lot of them flee to Yorubaland especially Ibadan. |

IGBOSON1:Most of these are not even up to 10 years. It is a shame that you cannot start a business and nurture it for at least,30 years like the Yorubas. |

atorioke:Nigeria Edit As of 2011, Nigeria was the third-largest producer, with approximately 2.3 million hectares (5.7×106 acres) under cultivation. Until 1934, Nigeria had been the world's largest producer. Both small- and large-scale producers participated in the industry. Pls tell me...btw the1st three regions, which region was producing palm oil? West had cocoa, north had groundnut and east had palm oil...to the extent the east was called oil rivers protectorate |
| Re: Why The Igbos Are The Solution To Nigeria's Economic Woes by atorioke(m): 5:13pm On Sep 21, 2019 |
selemempe:Eastern region was able to attain that because Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers were part of it. Now that they are not part of South East, what can you say? Using past geographical achievements to brag. |

kettykin:lol Ekene is going comatose because of in fighting of his children. So you do not have businesses you can mention except your human conduit pipes to Lagos. You are always fleeing,so who else will help.Name a real business. You see why Yorubas are better managers of businesses now. |
