The Federal Government under Buhari is the single largest buyer of Innoson vehicles.

For Innoson to compete very well, he needs to look beyond Government patronage and start

1) Targeting the ordinary citizens
2) Encourage other investors to invest in the company. This will bring in more fund for expansion and more importantly more human resources to compete with the older brands. Most giant manufacturing companies aren't owned and managed by one man but are usually Publicly qouted companies.
Let him list Innoson on the Stock exchange (Johanesburg Stock Exchange)

There may be no need to ban tokunbo. However government can implement a deliberate policy of instructing all government agencies and parastatals to only purchase made in Nigerian cars. That ways Innoson and other local assembly plants will be encouraged. These guys are creating jobs and paying taxes to government afterall. Most countries in sub- Saharan africa are taking Innoson more serious than FGN. These countries are sending delegations to Nigeria to see for themselves, order vehicles and also attempt to lure him over to their end

Obviously you dont know much about Basic Chemistry, let alone Industrial Chemistry.

Let me explain some terminologies to you.

1) Aluminium (Al) is a type of metal, specifically, it's apost transition metal with an Atomic number of 13 on period-3 in the Periodic Table of Elements.

2) An alloy is a mixture of two or more metals and the commonest example of an alloy is Steel. Brass and Bronze are other examples of Alloys.

3) Steel is an alloy of Iron, Carbon and one or more other metals.
When the other metals are chromium and Tin, you can have Stainless Steel and when the other metal is mainly zinc, the product becomes galvanized steel.

4) Carbon Steel is a type of Steel in which the Carbon content is around 2%. In most conventional steel, the carbon content is usually between 0=5-1=5%.
With increasing Carbon content, the steel will become less ductile.

Metals make up about two-thirds of the weight of vehicles.
You can't talk of automobile manufacturing without talking of Metal industries.
i am telling u that we have aluminium and steel enough to make cars...why u argue this is beyond me.

Consider these stats.

1. South korea doesnt have iron ore or metal
2. South Africa has iron ore

But

1. South korea makes 4 million cars annually
2. South Africa makes 600k cars annually

However
1. Nigeria makes 16k metric tons of cement yearly
2. South africa makes 11k

But in 1996
1. Nigeria made just 3k metric tonnes of cement
2. South Africa made 7k

Why do u think that we now surpass SA in cement?
We have the comparative advantage to surpass them in cars too...but a fulani man wont do that if it would benefit an igbo man first

how? Am telling u still that wat obj did in the cement industry can be done to auto industry and it will gv the same result. I am showing u how and why our auto industry can work if it works in south korea and south africa that has neither our population nor the crude resources to make cars.

If dangote start making cars today, u will see that nigeria can make cars.

They did it for him in cement....they did it for him in sugar....they are about to do it for him in oil....bruh if u are sincere u will see that am telling u the gospel truth

All regions were doing well then. I can't say if the South East was doing better than South West or the North. However one thing was certain - Nnamdi Azikiwe was president
And Igbo were running to southwest for free education then.

.........whilst they keep hating on the locals, calling them all sorts of uncharitable names.

And the man (Pa Awo) who made it possible for their fathers to gain the education which their own leader (Zik) could not afford them in their own region.. yet they have nothing good to say about him, rather they take delight in propagating fallacious tales Awo in a bid to tarnish his legacy.
