Orogbum community and Oro-abali community both merged to form the community called Ogbum-nu- abali. Roughly translated to English as Ogbum-and-abali. the "nu" is Ikwerre word for "and".

Igboson1. OK. Ogbum-nu-Abali means Ogbum "and" Abali community. The word "NU" means "and", the name is as a result of two brothers Ogbum and Abali that came together back in the days to form a unified community usually when it involves activities outside. Abali was the first Son and Ogbum the second irrespective of the arrangement of the name. It's called "Oro-abali" community when it involves inward activities and separate activities, also it's called "Orogbum" community which is a separate community when it comes to activities done inward the community, but when they go for an outside function they go as one community hence the name Ogbum-nu-Abali community. Thanks.

Rubbish. Sometimes I wonder if the youths are joking when they exalt such petty projects . The building and outline look very inferior and will become an eyesore with a few weeks. Let’s stop praising mediocrity . River state is an oil producing state and should be able to boast of much better infrastructures than these petty projects
