Oga if you are opportune, don't think others are lazy. You may have tried an option and it worked for you, others may try that same option and couldn't succeed. Learn to say soothing words to people because you don't know what they are fighting for. Na person wey get bag of rice for house dey see person wey wan buy one cup from shop as foolish.
If u don't have good words to say to them, kindly ignore. Nigeria is not an easy country. Not everyone has that hustling spirit but that doesn't make them lazy. Some prefers getting a degree and a job then they are fine. A degree holder is not a lazy man. Someone with a degree is entitled to a good life if this country is a good one. In abroad people with vocational training get job placement and incentives.

you aren't getting the drift bro...In a nutshell, This world of ours owes no one..Life is a competition on its own. The strong ones will make it and the weak ones will suffocate..Hardship and distrust in this world have made people not to share love anymore. But when I hear grown men cry and whine over something works for Mr A and doesn't work for them it pisses me off. Some people hit the limelight at 12, Some @ 60...Instead or him to move outta that City to a more conservative place,and face life head on he is busy on NL telling us sad stories...

NB: I was born and brought up in Lagos, although not from Lagos...When I realized that it wasn't paying,I quit Lagos to Abuja then it still wasnt Ok,I absconded and Landed in my homeland(North). Am not there yet,but am doing very Ok...So she should get his *as up and hustle.

God performs miracle, but don't sit down hoping to get a white collar job. Go into the street and think of a service/value you can offer to those around and you get paid for it. I study mech. engr with the hope pursuing a career in engr. but no level yet. I wouldn't sit and start waiting to get a job from shell when I got no connection (God works in mysterious ways though). Some people got worst problem and are still pushing.

Life is hard, we can't be complaining all the time. When I grad, na so I dey complain but omon it wouldn't change anything - some got it easy while others the hard way. Anyhow anyhow ogoro must jump.

not like am waiting for a federal job madam. Here in Abuja most of the schools I have been too always need people with educational qualifications. I do join bricklaying people also and go to where they are building houses but had to stop because my chest and back is now stiff and it's been paining me.

Abuja is an expensive place(home for the wealthy) though is a good place but business if you can package yourself real good; predominant jobs are construction and civil service, and also NGOs Location matters alot. I don't believe hard labour as a means of making money, I prefer using my brain, so bricklayer is a no no for me.

Keep Ur age by the side. Find a good Igbo business man and serve him for like 3 years as apprentice. Atleast u are sure of daily food plus some pocket money. At the end of your apprenticeship, you are equipped with start up capital + business experience.

I am a graduate, working with federal parastatal but I wish I went the business route. Most of my friends that started business immediately after graduation are big time importers now with buildings scattered all over.

If you read my last statement, I added while he works there he should think of something he can do by the side. I don't do business but I render services in my area of expertise. That's why we went to school so we can think. Don't only try to be book smart, "street smart" will help you survive anywhere.

I tried teaching in a secondary school, those ones are always owing. Infact I ended up leaving.
Hope is never lost so far you don't lose your life.
Just do whatever you can to survive in a legit way

Those guys who are lambasting the guy because of his situation are the few fortunate ones who were in his shoes and managed to scale through. I expected something better from those guys.

Life they say is not fair.
Before school, I did all of those things some suggested the guy do; selling for mum, work in a factory and did a teaching job. I realised there is no future in that path and I worked my ass to get to school.

Managed and graduated from mech engine department with the so called strong 2.1 finished
NYSC and here I am close to 30 and still looking for job. Does that make me a lazy human, not street smart or Simply lazy?

Some of these guys have no idea how life treat others even when life is throwing all the jabs at you.
