A friend of mine appeal on the 6th of sept and got this on 25th , please what does this mean?
He needs to send a prepaid courier so that they can mail his passport and documents back to him. Probably the one he submitted during his interview had issues

Do you believe this info that is impossible, German embassy will not cancel any bookings I booked in September and I got a date . If they want to cancel they will not give out dates........my 1milion advice to people who have got an appointment date...don't cancel..embassy will not cancel any appointment I repeat embassy will not cancel any appointment. If you were unable to get a date you can reapply from october 1st. One love

What do you then have to say about those who had applied for AD since June & weren't given a date till date...just my thougths

In the midst of all the talk about rejections, let's remember that the success rate for this German waka is higher than all the other threads. Even the US, Australia and UK that charge crazy tuitions still deny most people. In his thread, it's like 80% success rate. Even more than half of the rejections we have seen were overturned.

So what am I saying? The bros talking about losing hope should not. I don't think it's easier in other countries.

This is the arrangement order I got from an earlier post on here. I can't find the post but I have a screenshot, so I will write it again

.....
Note that the first 3 documents will be the parts where you will be dropping the subsequent photocopies while you will put your appointment mail and international passport alongside with the other original documents.

OK in plain terms,
The first 3 documents, I will arrange them as

1st set:-Visa Application form, Signed declaration, Copies of data page and a copy of all the photocopies

2nd set:- same for the 1st set.

3rd set :- appointment mail, inter passport and other originals.

Please am I correct?

House....?? @sassy92

@Slip.....They will bring the original copy to your home address, I received mine like 3 weeks ago and if you didn’t get it you can also write Uni assist to help you to send it maybe to a friend or family in Germany who will scan and send to your email and you can upload the colored VPD to OTH school portal that’s what I did when I didn’t get the VPD here quickly I called Uni assist to help me send it to a friend and they did he got the VPD from Uni assist within 2-3 days and I uploaded it and it was accepted within two days....have sent you a pm

On the issue of this AD, I’m part of the people that have applied since like July, Category B. Till now no date.

Is it advisable to cancel and rebook after the so called purging or just rebook without cancelling on October 1 or 2.

Sassy92 pls your insights too.

I'm not an expert oo, this is the first time the embassy is using the Category system for appointment booking so there are a lot of gray areas. But it's clearly stated on the embassy website that they'll purge their system at the end of September to give room for new appointments. So there are 2 things:
- Cancel your previous booking and rebook in October
- Leave your previous booking and hope that the embassy will release dates after purging their
system.
I can't tell anyone which exactly to do, the choice is yours. But it's clear that the embassy doesn't use when you booked as a criteria for giving dates, people that booked in June/July haven't gotten dates while someone here booked in September and got a date. What the embassy uses is your enrollment deadline, your AD needs to be at least 6 weeks to your enrolment deadline for you to be able to meet up. The earliest AD you can get is in October, so look at your enrolment deadline and ask yourself "if I get a AD in October will I be able to meet up?" This should guide you appropriately.
For those whose schools allow enrollment by proxy, please IF YOU'RE CANCELLING AND REBOOKING MAKE SURE YOU USE DEC/JAN AS START DATE. And if you eventually get a date, please make sure you go with your certificate of enrollment for your interview and your proof of sustenance (fully funded BA or original copy of SL). For those using BA, wait till you get a date before funding.
That's all I can say, again I'm no expert so please take my opinion with a pinch of salt.

He was rejected, and Appeal
When appealing , He only sent his appeal letter, motivational letter, BA confirmation and all his certificate. But no international passport.

Now they only tell him to send only courier pack
