300k is too much for mini flat for ketu, oga I don't believe your quote. 200-250k is ideal.

1. Your mother in law, your mum or any family member will come around to assist in caring for your baby. You don't want them sleeping in the parlour, it's not right.

2. Your wife will give birth to your first child shortly after so you'll need the extra room.

3. Before you knew it, your infant will become a toddler. You don't want to be doing kerewa while your child is asleep. It's a NO-NO.

If you're on a low budget, then your option is mini flat. In that case:

- Try to get a thick mattress to be put in the sitting room. Your guest shouldn't be made to sleep on a sofa. Also get a mosquito net that fits the mattress. ( Guest's comfortability is of utmost importance)

Note:never ever ffuckkk in the same bed your child sleeps in. You can do it in the parlour or even in the kitchen

I stayed in 1-bedroom (mini) flat after wedding.
Because, most importantly , I wanted to discourage overnight visitors as much as possible. We needed quality bonding time together at least first year before the baby comes.

Although even if I had gotten a 2-bedroom flat, I would use one as store room.
If you have gotten more than enough wedding gifts, you will surely need a place to put away some stuff while still keeping your flat neat and decent. My luck was that the upstairs flat I got, I am the sole user of the staircase and under the staircase is enough room for stuff

Please before renting the house make sure you look at the Calibre of people living in the house and do not go for more than a room self contain or a room and a parlour self contain for start depend on what you have. Let your wife know that her taste should not be ajebo type for now because you need to start planning ahead of your family. And finally the moment you are married,you should start planning when and how you will have your own house somewhere even if you will not be living there for now. If you rent a house with more than a room remember family members will be coming to stay with you wilhich is not advisable for start. hunnnnnnnn well God will help you.

You just pay the normal 180k per year and continue the stay.

However, here is my take:

As a married man, you and your wife will need some privacy plus you definitely cannot do away with visitors, be they family or friends.

You need at least a bedroom and a sitting room space with separate toilet/ bath, and kitchen.

When you have kids and your mother in-law comes, you can comfortably sleep in the sitting room while she sleeps in the bedroom with your wife and baby.

One bedroom ensuite is so squashed for both of you. Do not even go there.

A 2-bedroom flat will be super comfortable but only if you have the money.

If you can afford a two bedroom flat, it's okay.

Mini flat is ok too, but in a matter of a year or two, you will be talking of getting additional rooms. So based on your question, a two bedroom is fine.

But if I were to suggest to you, I'll suggest you remain in your current apartment, get a piece of land at a place of your choice and develop your building. Then you'll have all the comfort you ever need
