I heard similar stuff from my friend(She was told by her sugar that works for NNPC). She was also told that a group is not satisfied because some states are not equally represented and that was why the list has been moving up and down to FCC. The unsatisfied group is insisting that the list should be published in a national newspaper so that Nigerians will see the unequal treatment some states received irrespective of FCC while the satisfied group is against it.
Please, this is the information my friend told me and it may be right or wrong. Good luck.

I am a Managerial candidate and so I wasn't interviewed with most of you here.
Last week Thursday after the Presidential broadcast, the Minister of Petroleum ordered the NNPC Recruitment list as it was to be published. It was to be published in PUNCH newspaper.
There was pandemonium in Abuja as all the politicians and new management who have been lobbying for name replacements since Kyari took over would've been left without their candidates being put in the list.Even the Minister of Labour went to protest that the composition of the list didn't show Federal character as it was lopsided towards the West and not evenly spread.He was then educated that while Federal character may have a role in the invitation for interviews, only competence and merit are considered after passing the interview. He soft-pedalled but the other powerful politicians made so much noise that the Minister suspended the order to publish on Thursday,3rd October 2019 and gave them 5 working days to sort whatever irregularities they claimed was in the list before he went to South Africa for his 3-day visit. He is back now and will expect their report before it gets published. If he stays true to his first order,then this list will likely be out in the national dailies before emails and texts are even sent out.
I know kids of nowadays will complain about reading long write-ups. It is the bane of our country right now.

I just got a message from my source some 30mins ago or 1hr thereabout that the recruitment list has been approved by FCC and the APL of successful candidates is on its way to Kaduna for printing.

Fasten your seatbelt for impact. APL to be dropped latest 12th october.

Kudos man for the update. But what is a date doing there. Saying soon would have sufficed instead of trying to append a date to it cos it has always failed.

I knew the interview invite was strictly base on federal character to accommodate all states in the right proportion. I knew people that were sure of scoring 70 that weren't invited.

Here's the gist, if truly some people were paid twice, as it was claimed here, then the reason you're yet to be paid is simply MISTAKE from NNPC part, or what could be the reason those guys were paid twice? how about those that were paid lesser compared to other applicants from the same address/CBT? e.g Kaduna is 6k, some were paid 3k, Ibadan is 16k, some were paid 12k...
But really, don't tell me you're still nursing ABT, because that bus is long bust...

70 percent was the cut for some states .I'm talking about the cbt. Some states Cut off was even as low as 50.

@joobseekar I hope you are not taking it the wrong way. I just feel when it's brought up, people try to tease us or sweep it under the carpet. Though, it's expected becos most people here have been paid, nobody cares anymore. Before the payment stopped it wasn't really an issue. I don't really like talking about it becos I feel that no one is sure of anything. Sometimes when we bring it up, we are just concerned and we should be a little concerned. Even sometimes when I ask some people if they have been paid, I'm just trying to find out if they did the interview. I have found out that most people that have not been paid don't really post that much. Sha APL is the koko

Nah! We good bro, I'm just saying with Cavalier info, about the list supposed to be released few days ago, and the tfare payment being stopped for about 2 weeks, coupled with double and unequal payments for some guys, it's safe to say anyone yet to be paid at this moment, could be due to mistake.

I dont doubt my source because whenever he doesnt know what is going on he tells me straight away, or sometimes he doent even pick my calls, but yesterday we had a lengthy discussion, man was even gisting me about salary and allowance, that the basic salary for gt is 130k, plus some little allowances your take home is around 180k, I was even surprised there is allowance for lunch break which is around 1500 per day which is included in your take home, and that immediately after induction you will be given around 5million to go and sort yourself, also your salary increases by 5-10 percent per anum depending on your performance during d course of d year, that is why u can find ppl employed thesame year but with different salaries.
I just pray the top management sort their issues and approve this list as fast as possible coz according to him only their approval is remaining but NOBODY knows when they will meet.
P.s- pls just scroll down if u dont blv me im not looking for anybody's approval here coz some ppl on this thread really have bad mouth im not that stupid to come and be relaying false information here thank you.

Omo its not easy oo...i've almost moved on from this nnpc stuff, but since that phone call yesterday my mind is not at rest again.

I hope you get the concept. Even the person that pass can still fail when you bring the time of submission into it.

He passed info. He might have heard it but circumstances changed. But to assume about him because it didn't work out is unfair. Personally, I have moved past dates. So whether the information becomes true or not I don't care. APL will come when it does and God willing we will be successful.

Please I am trying to get you based on this your logic, so if one scored more than 70% but submitted after 45mins, he stilled failed?

If your answer to the above is in the affirmative, then it is incorrect because I carefully reviewed all my answers until the last minute before I submitted. Guess what? I was called for interview.

The above goes to show that you just make up assumptions and spill, it is very unhealthy.
