Beloved in Christ, blessed day to us all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ...

As I was in my study/meditating room overnight, I was greatly illuminated by my senior partner to share with everyone this topic: MIDNIGHT PERIOD✍

What exactly is MIDNIGHT or which period can we refer to as MIDNIGHT period?

MIDNIGHT PERIOD is the middle of the night: the moment of time, which is equidistant between sunset and sunrise.

In the above text� it was recorded that Paul and Silas were been arrested just for the sake of the gospel, the enemies of the truth were against them, they were put in the prison, not just anyhow prison, they were been thrusted into the inner prison...

Beloved, I will like us to get this straight Sir/Ma.
Every glorious destined individual must pass through this period that i called MIDNIGHT PERIOD, before one can manifest or fulfil destiny..

What you do during your MIDNIGHT PERIOD matters alot.

Apostle Paul and Silas utilises their MIDNIGHT PERIOD to acknowledge and praise God whom they know is the only one that can safe and save them from all their persecutors.

If we run away from experiencing this PERIOD, the truth of the matter is, it will be so hard to fulfil purpose on earth.

Jesus Christ our Lord&savior went through this MIDNIGHT PERIOD (Calvary experience).

Our fathers in faith and early Apostles also went through the MIDNIGHT PERIOD of life.

If you kindly read about brother Joseph, we will get it straight that it's a must for us to pass through this PERIOD since we carry something tangible.

Jacob passed through this MIDNIGHT PERIOD at the juncture of MARITAL choice

Job also passed through this MIDNIGHT PERIOD before he was crowned.

Naomi passed through this MIDNIGHT PERIOD (She even gave up at a point by saying call me not more Naomi but Ma'ra which connotes bitterness).

Hmmmm, Daniel passed through MIDNIGHT PERIOD by standing for/with the truth.

Sadrach, Meshach and Abednego also passed through this MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

Abraham the father of faith terribly passed through this MIDNIGHT PERIOD at the juncture of becoming a parent.

Myself had passed through MIDNIGHT PERIOD of life before.

Everything will work against someone visions.

Frustration is always the order of the day.

At MIDNIGHT PERIOD

Business and Career do fail.

Friends, families and Colleagues do desert one.

Doubts and Fear of uncertainties are always the order of the day.

When one is at MIDNIGHT PERIOD

There will be NO SUCCESS IN VIEW at all.

Everything one do or partake in will be fruitless, just because it's NIGHT.

MIDNIGHT period is always FULL OF DARKNESS.

Is at MIDNIGHT the evil doers do execute their assignments (hmmm, when men slept, the enemies came and sowed tares among the wheats and went his way)"Mathew 13:25".

I could still remember that faithful year I was in my bed at my father's house and I was about to wake up early in the morning and find it difficult to move all my body, I was chained down, both my legs and hands were stive as if I want to sing Nigeria National Anthem�

Hmmmm, MIDNIGHT PERIOD

If you are opportune to read this article today and you are passing through one or two unpleasant situations of life, please know this that it's just MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

You've married but no fruit of the womb yet, dear it's just MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

You've passed out of secondary school for so long and yet no admission to further your studies, please relax, it's just MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

You've grown to a marriageable age and yet no suitor forthcoming, infact your siblings are now giving birth in their matrimonial homes.. Beloved, be encouraged it's just MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

That financial bankrupt of yours is just for MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

You've tried all possible best to secure a well paid job after your academic completion in higher institution but yet nothing and you are about giving up.. Common, be encouraged dear, it's just MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

Your family and love ones deserted you just because you made a mistake of having a child out of wedlock, dear be encouraged it's just for the PERIOD OF MIDNIGHT.

You've tried all possible best to succeed maritally, in fact maybe your spouse left you without a single cause.. Common, be encouraged it's just MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

You are a minister of God and it seems ministry is not working well as planned, sir/ma you are not the owner of the work now.. faithful father knows everything, pls keep the faith alive, it's just MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

Your own children that suppose to be your source of joy(Aridunnu) are now the ones devil is using to frustrate you and now seems they are source of sorrow to you.. my beloved, cool down, it's just MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

No one in life that is destined to be great that won't passed through this MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

AND THE BEAUTIFUL THING ABOUT THIS MIDNIGHT PERIOD IS THAT... IT IS JUST FOR A MOMENT, IT WILL DEFINITELY BE OVER.

This life is always about winning one battle facing another�

PSALM 30:5b says: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning..

Never give up during this MIDNIGHT PERIOD.
Never give in to intimidation.
Never get wearied during MIDNIGHT PERIOD.
Never allow satan to win you during MIDNIGHT PERIOD.

Rise up
Be steadfast
Be encouraged
Be strengthen
Be inspired
Be prayerful
Be upright
Be faithful

Strive and pursue after RIGHTEOUSNESS

Don't relax
Don't be wearied
Don't give up

It's too late to resigned to unpleasant situations.

After a tunnel, there shall be bright light�

1PETER 5:10 says: But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus,after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen,settle you.

Underline that phrase- #after that ye have suffered a while.

Beloved that MIDNIGHT PERIOD is for just a while.

We are coming out of them all by God's grace. Amen.

It is the word of God that is God, you need to hear, study, believe, use and share the word of God *every time inside your heart and in your mouth and with everybody you meet in life, office, homes, streets, fellowship, Church, peers, business-media(Facebook, twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, nairaland e.t.c) whether they are Christians or non-Christians* according to Jesus Christ teachings. This is what it means to have *Spiritual strength* or else all these fake-people who give prayers will use your life, deceive you and put you into more troubles in this world. It is this word of God that will help you to sieve what other human beings share with you and not be lured into evil disguised as good, advise, help or encouragement.
Ask the Holy Spirit to give you *Grace to start loving, studying and understanding His word written in the whole Holy bible according to Jesus Christ teachings*
This is the only way to have Spiritual strength in the Heavens, in this world (earth) and under-world.
The devil is in this world and has the ability to manifest his evil plans however *anybody who enters into Jesus Christ Crucified through belief in His death and resurrection as well as continuous meditation of God's word written in the whole Holy bible according to Jesus teachings* can never be defeated by the devil's deceits. "For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God." (1 John 5:4-5 NLT) Ask the Holy Spirit the grace to have faith in the Son of God; Jesus Christ Crucified and to study your Holy bible every time in your mind, with your mouth, with your phone/iPad/laptops and with the fellowship of the brethren.

"Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God."

The LIFE of God inside the mortal-body of believers (the Holy Spirit) prompts us to pray, prays through us, answers the prayers, enables to wait for His timing with regards to the manifestation of the answered prayers, brings about the physical manifestation of the answered prayers and takes the glory for the manifestation of the answered prayers.

Ask for What You Need
11 One day he was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said, “Master, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.”

2-4 So he said, “When you pray, say,

Father,
Reveal who you are.
Set the world right.
Keep us alive with three square meals.
Keep us forgiven with you and forgiving others.
Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil.”

5-6 Then he said, “Imagine what would happen if you went to a friend in the middle of the night and said, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread. An old friend traveling through just showed up, and I don’t have a thing on hand.’

7 “The friend answers from his bed, ‘Don’t bother me. The door’s locked; my children are all down for the night; I can’t get up to give you anything.’

8 “But let me tell you, even if he won’t get up because he’s a friend, if you stand your ground, knocking and waking all the neighbors, he’ll finally get up and get you whatever you need.

9 “Here’s what I’m saying:

Ask and you’ll get;
Seek and you’ll find;
Knock and the door will open.

10-13 “Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This is not a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your little boy asks for a serving of fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? If your little girl asks for an egg, do you trick her with a spider? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing—you’re at least decent to your own children. And don’t you think the Father who conceived you in love will give the Holy Spirit when you ask him?”

No Neutral Ground
14-16 Jesus delivered a man from a demon that had kept him speechless. The demon gone, the man started talking a blue streak, taking the crowd by complete surprise. But some from the crowd were cynical. “Black magic,” they said. “Some devil trick he’s pulled from his sleeve.” Others were skeptical, waiting around for him to prove himself with a spectacular miracle.

17-20 Jesus knew what they were thinking and said, “Any country in civil war for very long is wasted. A constantly squabbling family falls to pieces. If Satan cancels Satan, is there any Satan left? You accuse me of ganging up with the Devil, the prince of demons, to cast out demons, but if you’re slinging devil mud at me, calling me a devil who kicks out devils, doesn’t the same mud stick to your own exorcists? But if it’s God’s finger I’m pointing that sends the demons on their way, then God’s kingdom is here for sure.

21-22 “When a strong man, armed to the teeth, stands guard in his front yard, his property is safe and sound. But what if a stronger man comes along with superior weapons? Then he’s beaten at his own game, the arsenal that gave him such confidence hauled off, and his precious possessions plundered.

23 “This is war, and there is no neutral ground. If you’re not on my side, you’re the enemy; if you’re not helping, you’re making things worse.

24-26 “When a corrupting spirit is expelled from someone, it drifts along through the desert looking for an oasis, some unsuspecting soul it can bedevil. When it doesn’t find anyone, it says, ‘I’ll go back to my old haunt.’ On return, it finds the person swept and dusted, but vacant. It then runs out and rounds up seven other spirits dirtier than itself and they all move in, whooping it up. That person ends up far worse than if he’d never gotten cleaned up in the first place.”

27 While he was saying these things, some woman lifted her voice above the murmur of the crowd: “Blessed the womb that carried you, and the breasts at which you nursed!”

28 Jesus commented, “Even more blessed are those who hear God’s Word and guard it with their lives!”

Keep Your Eyes Open
29-30 As the crowd swelled, he took a fresh tack: “The mood of this age is all wrong. Everybody’s looking for proof, but you’re looking for the wrong kind. All you’re looking for is something to titillate your curiosity, satisfy your lust for miracles. But the only proof you’re going to get is the Jonah-proof given to the Ninevites, which looks like no proof at all. What Jonah was to Nineveh, the Son of Man is to this age.

32,31 “On Judgment Day the Ninevites will stand up and give evidence that will condemn this generation, because when Jonah preached to them they changed their lives. A far greater preacher than Jonah is here, and you squabble about ‘proofs.’ On Judgment Day the Queen of Sheba will come forward and bring evidence that condemns this generation, because she traveled from a far corner of the earth to listen to wise Solomon. Wisdom far greater than Solomon’s is right in front of you, and you quibble over ‘evidence.’

33-36 “No one lights a lamp, then hides it in a drawer. It’s put on a lamp stand so those entering the room have light to see where they’re going. Your eye is a lamp, lighting up your whole body. If you live wide-eyed in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light. If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust, your body is a dank cellar. Keep your eyes open, your lamp burning, so you don’t get musty and murky. Keep your life as well-lighted as your best-lighted room.”

Frauds!
37-41 When he finished that talk, a Pharisee asked him to dinner. He entered his house and sat right down at the table. The Pharisee was shocked and somewhat offended when he saw that Jesus didn’t wash up before the meal. But the Master said to him, “I know you Pharisees burnish the surface of your cups and plates so they sparkle in the sun, but I also know your insides are maggoty with greed and secret evil. Stupid Pharisees! Didn’t the One who made the outside also make the inside? Turn both your pockets and your hearts inside out and give generously to the poor; then your lives will be clean, not just your dishes and your hands.

42 “I’ve had it with you! You’re hopeless, you Pharisees! Frauds! You keep meticulous account books, tithing on every nickel and dime you get, but manage to find loopholes for getting around basic matters of justice and God’s love. Careful bookkeeping is commendable, but the basics are required.

43-44 “You’re hopeless, you Pharisees! Frauds! You love sitting at the head table at church dinners, love preening yourselves in the radiance of public flattery. Frauds! You’re just like unmarked graves: People walk over that nice, grassy surface, never suspecting the rot and corruption that is six feet under.”

45 One of the religion scholars spoke up: “Teacher, do you realize that in saying these things you’re insulting us?”

46 He said, “Yes, and I can be even more explicit. You’re hopeless, you religion scholars! You load people down with rules and regulations, nearly breaking their backs, but never lift even a finger to help.

47-51 “You’re hopeless! You build tombs for the prophets your ancestors killed. The tombs you build are monuments to your murdering ancestors more than to the murdered prophets. That accounts for God’s Wisdom saying, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles, but they’ll kill them and run them off.’ What it means is that every drop of righteous blood ever spilled from the time earth began until now, from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was struck down between altar and sanctuary, is on your heads. Yes, it’s on the bill of this generation and this generation will pay.

52 “You’re hopeless, you religion scholars! You took the key of knowledge, but instead of unlocking doors, you locked them. You won’t go in yourself, and won’t let anyone else in either.”

53-54 As soon as Jesus left the table, the religion scholars and Pharisees went into a rage. They went over and over everything he said, plotting how they could trap him in something from his own mouth.

This Current Issue about sex for grades, yes may have been used by Britain as usual in order to make our African University *inferior to us as Africans even other continents of the world* because they used *only 2-sample to generalize a whole* thereby trying to *glorify their own University system much more than our African University system* however the issue that they raised is *real* but not only in the *University system*, it is also found in every institution where a man or woman is found whether in a position of leadership/authority/influence/power/religion;
House helps(male & female) at the hands of Family boss, madam even their children.
Religious members at the hands of religious leaders.
Choir-members at the hands of Choir-leaders.
Office-staff at the hands of office-boss.
Students at the hands their teachers.
New students at the hands of old/senior/prefect students. e.t.c.
It means *mankind* whether Africans or any other continent has *a challenge*.
The root cause of this *misnomer* is the *flesh(not the skin)/old-self/old-man*.

It is only the death of our flesh/old-self/old-man (not our skin) by being Crucified together with the flesh of Jesus Christ on Calvary then our dead-flesh being replaced by the new flesh of Jesus Christ as at Resurrection Morning that gives a *permanent and eternal solution* to this *possibility of errors* in any man whether man or woman. This is what is called *Eternal-Life*. This Eternal-Life is what every human being needs. This is why Jesus Christ came in the human flesh to destroy the works of the devil(the possibilities of the flesh/old-man manifesting in our mortal-bodies; 1 John 3:8, Matthew 1:21). This is why sharing and believing the Gospel of Grace in Christ Jesus Crucified is the only remedy for mankind
thus "...for the gospel is the power of salvation unto them that believe" (Romans 1:16).

Unless a man/woman experiences this powerful exchange of the old-man/flesh with the new-flesh of Jesus Christ through the *seen and unseen power of God manifested on Calvary*, he/she cannot manifest this *eternal life*.
This new life is *not a practice, a repetition of biblical utterances/confessions, a mere engagement in Christian activities, a pyschological motivation, membership with the highest Christian denomination/fellowship/Church, mentorship e.t.c.* Somebody can be in the flesh and practice self-discipline/control in a particular external area/aspect of his/her life but the flesh/old-self was designed to dominate/control us hence nobody living in the flesh can dominate it rather it was *momentarily suppressed* and will soon manifest in another aspect of that persons lifestyle. It is *ONLY A LIFE* received *directly from GOD(Christ Jesus Crucified)* inside our whole being (spirit, soul and body) if we seek HIM *sincerely, deliberately, willingly, determinedly* whether we are in the circle of *believers(a local Church)* or we are alone in our homes/house/streets/offices/jobs/vehicle/on-transit/hospital-bed/other-religion inviting HIM into our hearts as *LORD*.

Introduction
A mother who gives birth expects her child to grow from stage to stage until it gets to the level where he/she can be able to handle responsibilities. Maturity is the quality of thinking and behaving in a sensible manner. It is the state of being fully developed.
Just like people develop physically in stages, spiritual maturity is also in stages. From baby Christians to growing Christians to matured Christians. However this does not come overnight or occur automatically, it takes a process. We do not just sit down doing nothing and get developed spiritually; it takes a deliberate process of building and discipline, just like a baby is constantly fed and given everything necessary to grow rightly into maturity.
God desires that everyone who comes into the household of faith in Christ Jesus Crucified should grow from childhood into maturity. No parent is happy when a child is not growing well like normal children or is deficient and cannot be given responsibilities. Even so God desires that all His children grow to become people He can delegate with the kingdom responsibilities.
Baby Christians
Facts about baby Christians
 They feed on milk—1 Peter 2:2; Hebrews 5:12-13
 They are unsteady – Ephesians 4:14; Proverbs 22:15
 They are ignorant – 1 Corinthians 13:11
 They cannot enjoy the fullness of their inheritance in Christ – Galatians 4:1-2
What to do as a baby Christian
 Quiet time with Jesus Christ Crucified for His direct teachings (Mark 3:13-15, John 6:45, Acts 4:13)
 Constantly study the Word—1 Peter 2:2; 1 Corinthians 3:1-2
 Live a life of prayer – 1 Thessalonians 5:17
 Fellowshipping with the brethren – 1 John 1:3; Hebrews 10:25

Conclusion:
As a parent does not give important responsibilities to children, even God will not do same with those who are still spiritual infants. A person can be fifteen years in the faith and still be an infant while someone who is five years can be a matured Christian. It all depends on how we respond to God and the responsibilities in His kingdom.
May God Our Father, lift every human being who sincerely, deliberately, willingly, determinedly collaborates with His grace of receiving salvation in His Beloved Son Jesus Christ Crucified to that point where He can fully commit His work into our hands and that we would do them in accordance with His desires for us and the household of faith through the unlimited manifestations of His Holy Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen.

They are Cardinal John Henry Newman, Sister Marian Thresia, Sister Giuseppina Vannini, Sister Dulce Lopes Pontes, and Marguerite Bays. In his homily, the Pope reflects on the Gospel account of the lepers, and on the verbs “to cry out, to walk, to give thanks”.

He reflected on Saint Luke’s Gospel account of Jesus healing the lepers. Theirs was a “journey of faith”, said the Pope. There are three steps in this journey, he added, all expressed in the actions of the lepers whom Jesus heals: “They cry out, they walk and they give thanks”.

TO CRY OUT
The lepers “cry out”, said Pope Francis, both because of their disease and because they were excluded. Still, “they did not let themselves be paralyzed because they were shunned by society”, he said. “They cried out to God, who excludes no one”. Distances are shortened, loneliness is overcome, said the Pope, not by closing in on ourselves, but by crying out to the Lord, who “hears the cry of those who find themselves alone”.

We too need to be healed, continued Pope Francis: “healed of our lack of confidence in ourselves, in life, in the future; healed of our fears and the vices that enslave us, of our introversion, our addictions and our attachment to games, money, television, mobile phones, to what other people think”.

“The Lord sets our hearts free and heals them if only we ask Him”, said Pope Francis. The lepers call on Jesus by name, a name that means: “God saves”. To call someone by name is a sign of confidence, he said. “That is how faith grows, through confident, trusting prayer”, said the Pope. “Prayer is the door of faith; prayer is medicine for the heart”.

TO WALK
The second stage of faith is “to walk”, continued Pope Francis. There are several verbs of motion in today’s Gospel, he noted. “The lepers are not healed as they stand before Jesus”, only afterwards as they are walking “uphill” towards Jerusalem. On the journey of life, that is how purification happens, said the Pope. “Faith calls for journey, a ‘going out’ from ourselves”, he said, leaving behind our “comforting certainties” and “safe harbours”. Faith increases by giving and by taking risks, added Pope Francis. “Faith advances with humble and practical steps”.

The Pope went on to stress how the lepers “move together”. The verbs in the Gospel are in the plural, he said. “Faith means walking together, never alone”, added Pope Francis. Yet, once healed, nine of the lepers go on their way, and only one turns back to give thanks. “The other nine, where are they?”, asks Jesus, as though He expects the one who returned to account for the other nine.

We too are called to care for “those who have stopped walking, those who have lost their way”, said the Pope. “We are called to be guardians of our distant brothers and sisters.

TO GIVE THANKS
Giving thanks. This, said the Pope, is the final step. “Only to the one who thanked Him did Jesus say: ‘Your faith has saved you’”. The ultimate goal is not health or wellness, said Pope Francis, but the encounter with Jesus. “He alone frees us from evil and heals our hearts”, only He “can make life full and beautiful”.

“The culmination of the journey of faith is to live a life of continual thanksgiving”, affirmed Pope Francis. “To give thanks is not a question of good manners or etiquette, it is a question of faith”, he said. “A grateful heart is one that remains young”, said the Pope. He reminded us to remember always to say thank you: “Those words are the simplest and most effective of all”, he said.

THE NEW SAINTS
Noting that three of the new saints canonized this Sunday were religious women, the Pope said they show us that “the consecrated life is a journey of love to the existential peripheries”. Laywoman, Marguerite Bays, on the other hand, “speaks to us of the power of simple prayer, enduring patience and silent self-giving”.

Two nights ago, I saw a headline on gay sex. It was a gory narration of a person first gay sex. What I read that night really messed my mind till date. I really weep for everyone still in that web. I still think what I read was a stylish way of promoting gayism though that might not be the writer intent but some persons might read and be curious as the narrator in that thread said some persons are Bicurious Lols.

What I am going to say below will offend some persons I'm sorry but the truth must be told.

Anal Sex, Homosexuality, Lesbianism, what is God take on it? Is it a sin? Is it wrong? Is it an abomination?

Now go with me to the book of Romans Chapter 1 verse 26 and 27. I will read it in different translation so we can all understand what it says.

And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. Now what is this penalty? Read it again, they all received PENALTY, DUE PUNISHMENT, THEY PAID FOR IT... What is that Penalty?The penalty is all the diseases, malfunction, infections derived from this shameful act etc.

Ok the key thing that I want you all to see here is that, GOD GAVE THEM OVER ! So anybody into homosexuality and lesbianism,God has given them over to degrading and vile passions to a reprobate mind. My dear, it is not a natural mind that thinks of sex with same gender. Please open your dictionary and check the meaning of vile. God gave them over to their vile affection. So I want us to look at what the word vile actually means. Sincerely if you all know what it means,then you will understand the gravity of what Paul was saying there.
