I think you're cool with those natural spices you listed

I don't like locust beans because of the smell.

I don't know about the Yoruba leaf.
Forget the smell cheesy
Nobody likes it but it's super in food.
Those things are life savers for soups.
U know that ogbono soup u prepared for uncle?
Superb with it kiss kiss

See the soy sauce u talked about ba?
They have paste from the soya beans used for the soy sauce and the smell is worst than our own sef cheesy
It takes them months, like 6 months to prepare original soy paste so u can see, it's not only us that use such thing grin

Just wrap it very well and store so it will not smell grin

This is nice....i make pepperspup well but Ive never tried this catfish peppersoup at home cos I don't want d fish to scatter grin. Please, can u explain how you made d catfish Peppersoup?
Thanks.

I think is same recipe with others. If you want the fish not to scatter,

1. Cut into thick slices

2.stir gently. This is the major part.

3.Avoid using smaller pot

I don't eat swallow, though some folks use it to make stew. I had to drive to the farm before cooking that Ogbono soup because of some ingredient I used. Most of my food are cooked in the farm due to the smell, such don't go out of the house for days.. My Mama will laugh at me and say. "You get time sha"

Yeah I know about the soy sauce.

Having it in the house is not a problem for me though, I can decide to live it outside cheesy and go for it whenever I want. But I can't stand it.
