I have learnt to stop asking academic/career questions on Nairaland. Majority here are clueless and intellectual dimwits

Please try Kaduna, Jigawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Osun and maybe Oyo
Those three are not advisable for a newcomer because they are likely crisis prone especially Kaduna.

Agbara is one of the coolest place to get a job and start a life. First you must be confidence in approaching someone for help cause must times vacancies might be internal and not published to the public. Again find a church within agbara you can attend, identify with with pastor or members this is because some of the top manager in must companies around agbara reside within the environment. Also on your own go to companies around to ask and submit your cov. In terms of cost of living, agbara is very affordable. There is a popular market there too where u can buy things very cheap.
Thank for this Sir. Can a fresh graduate easily get a job in any of those industries? Can u recommend some industries for me in that area? I will complete my service year in 5 months. I really hope you can help me out Sir.

I had to login to comment against my wish. For all the comments you made on this thread displays your deep and scarce wisdom. More oil and grace. I'm standing and clapping. What wisdom. This is a woman with the wisdom of a man.

This is an insult, wisdom doesn't come with the genitals. You don't automatically become wise because you have a penîs, as evident with you. Thank you

pleaze who knows of any job vacancy in Agbara Ogun state..Am a geo physicist and a scafolder but i can work in any department. Thanks

Most companies in agbara hardly recruit their staffs from there. Most recruit from their headquarters in Lagos and then post them down here.. But u can still try your luck and Google for companies in agbara and send them unsolicited emails.. You might be lucky to get one. Agbara is cool and cheap the only problem is the bad roads there

Yes. Industries are much in agbara and even igbesa. Ota isn't far from there too and Ota is hub of many industries. The only problem here is the uselessness of ogun state government. A town that generates billions of revenue for them can't even boost of any good roads

Relocate only if u have a job offer unless you want to be employed as a factory worker and the pay is sometimes nothing to write home about

I have gotten the answers I needed and already reaching out to people on how to move there.

The people that gave me an honest review on some state, did not find the question to be senseless. On what ground is it senseless? I should continue blaming the government for my problems? How would that help me?

If you have any idea or advice to drop please do, but saying the question is senseless doesn't help matter's.

Why not start Scarp metal business or start buying Agricultural produce (like cashew nuts, palm kernel nuts ,kolanuts or Cocoa) for exports? You can start buying in small quantities and sell to big exporters, with time, you too can become a commodity merchant/exporter.

Osun State is the second largest producer of Eggs and poultry products I Nigeria.

Excluding international breweries in ilesa, there's no other industry in osun.

If you've been to the north, you'll know that osun is no where near northern states in poultry

Which Northern State? According to your casual observations or according to which research?

The NBS 2017 report put Oyo and Osun as the first and second largest producers of Poultry products.

Lol. Okay, I've heard you. But my point is osun state is not where one can settle in search of job or doing business.

It is possible
Don’t seat down n say it isn’t

I know guys in the office who met people during interview who helped them
Some agree to pay first year n u will pay second year

Just don’t close your mouth
Even the recruiting firm
Tell them you have no where to stay
They won’t write you off
They can link u up or know how to help

You can’t stay on Nairaland and be concluding

If everyone says their story
You will be amazed

Even churches or mosques can help you temporarily

But then
The ball is in your court
