Hello House,

Please can someone change to a different hospital other than the one that was used in the Visa application when one arrives the USA?

Its best not to have any type of information contrary to what you used in your application. VO Officers are using anything as an excuse to deny Visa and this could be seen as misrepresentation since the new price may be different than what you advised you were paying and for what you were approved for.
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by twinboyandgirl: 12:21pm On Oct 09, 2019
Thanks Peacenigeria.
Not at the visa interview o. Ofcourse the interview would state the hospital used in the application. I mean when one gets to the US say something happens and you want to change hospital or doctor.

Do what you told the VO you would do to avoid any possible issues when you renew your visa. You want to avoid any inconsistencies in your story that may be seen as misrepresentation. Having different hospitals/doctors with different prices may not be in your best interest.

But what if the planned hospital treats you like trash when you get there and make you very uncomfortable. Shouldn't you change to somewhere you would feel more safe?

With Ethiopia, I needed a fit to fly from the airport hospital or so and I was just 7 months then.
I’m just confused.
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by smokeydrinky: 3:13pm On Oct 09, 2019
alexandramylee:
“If you are pregnant and plan to travel on Emirates once you have entered your 29th week of pregnancy, a medical certificate or letter signed by an appropriately qualified doctor or midwife is required, stating:

the confirmation of a singleton or multiple pregnancy
the pregnancy is progressing without complications
the estimated date of delivery
that you are in good health
that there is no reason known to them that would prevent you from flying

Please note that if you choose not to carry a medical certificate, you may not be accepted for travel if there is any doubt about your ability to complete the journey safely.”

That means I don’t need it then. I would be gone and back to Nigeria before I get to 29 weeks.

[b]You can change only if the price is higher than what you quoted. Hence, you let them know that it was cheaper than the standard birth rate of giving birth in USA.
That way they'd know u have a genuine intention.

At least change to one with about same or higher birthing price range with the one documented at the embassy/visa interview. Going for something cheaper may not augur/bode well for future visa renewal....

They are still stamping 6months and if you go for secondary inspection, they won't stamp anything.

Please can I get any contact in Chicago that can assist me visit John stroger cook county hospital in Chicago to help me get my itemized bill and zero balance statement? I don’t mind paying a fee for that. Tried to renew my visa but was denied because I don’t have an itemized bill. I have tried reaching the hospital but they advise I sent a representative for ease. I had my daughter in September 2017 and I used the self pay package. All bills were paid but I didn’t get an itemized receipt and zero balance confirmation.

Hello house

This is really URGENT!!!

Please can anyone help me with a good doctor's contact in Houston ? I applied for a B2 medical Visa and been trying to get an appointment letter from Dr F but he hasn't replied my email since he sent the first email showing his price and that of the hospitals he is affiliated to.

I need an appointment letter but the man has refused to reply my emails for almost a month now.

I dont have time on my side anymore and I have paid my Visa fees already.

Thankssssss
