The problem of most Nigerians is that we are not student of history and we all believe to much in hearsay which explains why there is no known factual history about Nigerian written by Nigerians.

The white man documented every aspect of their contact with the black man and most of those ancient documents are well preserved in print on the Library of Congress, the Australian library archives, and the recent one down from 1850s in the New York Times.

The fact that “Igbo” (a totally different pronunciation) means bush in Yoruba doesn’t mean the name of the tribe “Igbo” was given to us by you people.
It’s always been our name from time immemorial before contact with other tribes or the white man. It’s not our fault that the name Yoruba might have been derived by Hausa people, don’t be stupid.
