Look Death In The Face

The crowd started gathering around Gbique. Boko still couldn't believe what he was seeing, he just stood motionless looking down at his jewel lying dead.

The neighbour's wife slowly went to Boko said whispered. "it's Sandra".

Boko didn't hear her until five seconds later. Like someone shook from his slumber, he snapped grabbing her by the shoulder. "you said what?".

The giant lady felt intimidated by Boko's raged countenance. She slowly spelt her words cautiously. "I saw Sandra and that human. They killed her!". ......

Chapter Thirty-Four
The Journey

The door opened and the ladies turned sharply to it. The man in the picture surfaced; every hair on Susan's body stood, Kate was finding it difficult breathing, her eyes widened and her body paralyzed.

Mayor walked in gently not noticing the effect his presence had on the ladies. He pulled out a seat across the table and sat facing them. Looking at the ladies he said in his usual calm tone. " which of you is Kate?".

Susan almost pointed at Kate but gently dropped her hand. Mayor noticed Susan's hesitancy and turned to Kate. " I believe you are".

It wasn't an error. The giant (Boko) wife's name is Sandra, and that of Andrew whom Abdul has fallen in love with is Susan.
