I have been reading comments on this thread and been enjoying it. I don't know why @Area4area, @Kpoikpoi and @mauriceju2 are so pained that Igbos say they want to leave. You are saying they are landlocked and would suffer should they leave Nigeria and the people say 'no qualms, we are ready' Why not leave them alone? Are you not aware that should Igbos leave today, there would no more be a united Nigeria because other regions would also aspire to leave and that 'landlockedness' you are talking about would not last for long? Na wa o I am in support of the division of this country but it should be done in a peaceful way because we all agree the country has not made any progress since independence. Since 1960 we are still praying for a good leader and none in sight. I remember in the 90s when Czechoslovakians peacefully decided to go their separate ways because their country wasn't moving forward the way it should and that's how we have the two countries Czech republic and Slovakia. Why not Nigerians go our separate ways since we have failed because we are not united and there's no solution in sight? Let every region fix itself |

Area4Area:wow so I guess the moderator didn't ban you for the earlier post where you promised the Igbos death to the tune of 30 or 40 million if they try to break away from Nigeria. I reported that post and I know the moderator bans people for less. The mod hid my report post. Seems unfair if you ask me. We cannot call the Igbos hatefull when everyday they are faced with extreme hate from us in this forum unfairly. You can't even keep count of the anti-igbo threads here any more. Lalasticlala please check on this guy's earlier hateful post about killing Igbos and take action. Thank you |

awgumayor:Attaché by force continues, you lose your Nigerian citizenship, you lose all rights and privileges that goes with it and all laws applicable to foreigners would be applied to Biafrans. |
| Re: Igbo Will Suffer If They Secede —senator Doguwa by Area4Area: 8:13am On Oct 29, 2019 |
tungamaje:Who is holding them to stay in Nigeria, all we are saying is this; 1)Biafrans will lose their Nigerian citizenship, 2)SS minorities are not going with them, 3)They would be surrounded by Nigeria and their survival will depend on agreement(s) with Nigeria, 4)All Nigerian laws applicable to foreigners would be applied to Biafrans. Just telling them what to expect because I know that 99.999% shouting about Biafra don't know about Nigerian laws and citizenship. They can go get Biafra but don't expect to retain your rights any longer as a Nigerian, nobody is holding anyone back. You talked of Czechoslovakia, don't you know that she and the former USSR have an agreement to splitting when they want, former Yugoslavia didn't have it and we all know how it splitted. |

jacksonkennedy:See blackmailing, nobody is praying for any killing and remember I'm Igbo too, all I'm saying is that since Nigeria doesn't have a referendum and secession clause in her constitution, any call for secession would lead to a war so everyone should be guided in their wish and utterances. I know you are pained by my unbridled truth and you want me banned so I'll stop talking and telling people what they should be expecting. |

Area4Area:Are you very sure that should Igbos leave, other SS minorities you are talking about wouldn't also aspire to leave just because they so love Nigeria and the current system? |

| Re: Igbo Will Suffer If They Secede —senator Doguwa by Nobody: 8:35am On Oct 29, 2019 |
Area4Area:that wasn't what you wrote. I don't care if you are Igbo or not. You clearly called for the killing of 30 or 40 million Igbos if they try to leave Nigeria. Read your rule 2 again. The mod hid it but refused to ban you. Seems like a conspiracy against the igbos if you ask me and I want to know how many mods are in on it. I don't need to be Igbo to notice what's going on here Seun OAM4J this moniker called for genocide on Igbos. He clearly called for 30 or 40 million Igbos to be killed this time around if they try to exit Nigeria. Is that forgivable? |
| Re: Igbo Will Suffer If They Secede —senator Doguwa by gidgiddy: 8:39am On Oct 29, 2019 |
tungamaje:That is to show you the mentality of these Northerners who want "one Nigeria". The unity of Nigeria is not based on love, it is based on hate. These Northerners see Igbos and the rest of Southernern Nigeria as part of their empire and they dont want to entertain any break up of their empire. Why do you think Northerners are offering armed killer herdsmen Ruga but hailing Buhari for proscribing unarmed IPOB who killed nobody? As long as Igbos stay in Nigeria, they will never get to their true potential because nothing in Nigeria ever progresses If you see the way the face of a Northerner changes when you talk about Biafra, you would be tempted to think that Biafra includes Sokoto. Yet the same Northerner doesnt know anything about Igbo land or Igbos. Somebody is telling Igbos that they will suffer if they leave Nigeria? The same Igbos that once left, came up with their own currency, Army, refined their own fuel and this was while they were fighting a war blockaded by air, land and sea. Igbos have been into the fire and back, nothing scares them any more An independent Igbo land will do much better than in Nigeria that is porverty capital of the world. |

jacksonkennedy:You think I've forgotten what I wrote, I said, 3 million civilians were killed in the last war and "IF YOU TRY TRASH" again, 30 million may go. So tell me where I called for any killing when an "IF" was stated? Just say you're really unsettled with the unbridled truth you just don't want people to know. I never called for the killing of my people so stop blackmailing me over what I didn't say. |

gidgiddy:The same north had even told you to leave them alone and go get your referendum and Biafra and you refused so why vilifying and lying against them. |
| Re: Igbo Will Suffer If They Secede —senator Doguwa by tungamaje: 8:46am On Oct 29, 2019 |
Area4Area:Oga, I asked a simple question and you say I am preempting. You should answer me because you said you are just trying to lecture Biafrans on what to expect should they leave Nigeria because other SS minorities wouldn't go with them. Is that not also preempting? |
| Re: Igbo Will Suffer If They Secede —senator Doguwa by Area4Area: 9:00am On Oct 29, 2019 |
tungamaje:I won't help you on this, several groups in the SS and even the Igala and Idoma in the NC have all issued press statements distancing themselves from Biafra and have urged IPOB from including them them in their map of Biafra, they stated it categorically that; They are not part of Biafra, They are not ready to form their country and they remain Nigerians. It's all over the internet so google it up, it was even discussed here on nairaland those days when they were issuing those press statements. I expect you forget about them for now till you get your Biafra then you can watch how events happen later, get your Biafra first should be of utmost importance instead of having headache for those that had refused you in the past and the present. |

This senator is so mentally lazy and stuck in the past. A Biafra would sharply join Community of Central African States with Cameroon, Angola and co or align and join East African Community with Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia etc These places are the the future. They are planning for the future and building railway lines to link their countries. While Buhari is closing borders and killing small businesses in Nigeria and West Africa |

Area4Area:I don't expect you to see anything wrong with what you wrote. However I expect the mods to know better Seun OAM4J |
| Re: Igbo Will Suffer If They Secede —senator Doguwa by Area4Area: 9:15am On Oct 29, 2019 |
nku5:So Biafra would jump over Akwa Ibom and Cross River states that had vowed to remain Nigerians to go form an alliance with central African countries? So the rail or road would fly over from Cameroon into Biafra. Some of you just post for posting sake. |

Introvertedmarc:Tell those abokis. They loot oil money from SS/SE and buy properties in the West and they are allowed to live in peace. But wish Biafrans will loose their properties in Nigeria if they secede. Is it not reprehensible? |
| Re: Igbo Will Suffer If They Secede —senator Doguwa by Ikechunna: 9:28am On Oct 29, 2019 |
gidgiddy:I can’t even find one thing igbo benefit from being part of that shithole. If that’s their definition of why Igbo should continue staying in that worthless country with them then that’s BULLSHIT. They already did that and worse after the civil war and our people bounced the Bleep back despite their piece of shit government did all it can think of to try to subdue Igbos. I highly highly fucking doubt that shithole is going to do anything to igbo that they haven’t done before. Bleep out of here. Even at that thanks to the Internet, igbo have access to the world as their market. Niggeria is nothing but river on top of an ocean. Even without them as a market, it ain’t shit. What will they stop the rest of the world to stop trading with Igbos? They are out of their poverty ridden mind in that nonsense excuse. What even stupid is their need to inform igbo on “suffering of igbo in Biafra.” Can someone mention to me what’s worse that being a citizen of the POVERTY CAPITAL OF THE WORLD that is Nigeria? What’s exactly is suffering that people aren’t already experiencing in that shithole? What exactly is working in Niggeria that they believe that once removed from it will be worse? Exactly what? Is it their financial status, education, healthcare, hell even food for their people? Exactly what in Niggeria is working? In fact if that’s their reason, abeg let us suffer. I will take that Biafran suffering over Niggeria any day, anytime or anywhere. |
