I don't recommend stocks when market is up.

I only buy when market falls.

Let the team average up help you.

I'm so principled especially on purchases. It must only be when lower lows are formed. So now, na WHOT I dey play under mango tree and looking at the market. grin

One thing I personally observed about NSE market is that any bull without Nestle and sometimes Dangote cement, are usually a temporary bull that will soon come down. I have been watching how Nestle was losing weight within this period, about to drop down to #1,000 and below, that mean, real bull is yet to come. Real bull will surface around January/February for final year dividend.

This just kept me laughing. The fracas between the 2 was actually uncalled for then, but i guess the 2 of them were actually going through some pressure then in terms of portfolio "woundjurement" cheesy,.Both were great contributors,
We miss her here sha,her contributions were novel and.she really spotted some good stocks here.cant imagine loco too leaving the forum.
Agba we are coming for you too,we must drag you back here, leaving the forum during a bull is punishable offence, angry

Let me explain what I mean by MMM scenario.

Since people will be looking for where to place money especially now that there are many rejections of Tbills placements, they will want to test the NSE. These could be newbies looking for where to get good returns.

They will do a quick one and get like 20% in 2 weeks after selling (more than what Tbills give in a year). They will be excited.

They will go in again after a week or more (remember price is going higher) and make 30% in 1 week. This is far more than what Tbills pay in 1 year. grin

Greed sets in and they will get more money to hit big. They go in and don't come out anymore. grin

This is MMM scenario.

Lol ok na now I understand

My friend still thanks me for not investing in that MMM. ...I discourged him from such "investment " as it was against my investment principles

My NTB that matured recently was just invested in FGN Bonds @16.25% coupon till year 2037. ......make that one the pay me 6 monthly salary for 17 years...... I no get strength de argue with CBN's NTB. ...make i mind this nse bull to know when to hand over my kaya.

What is the rate ? And is it fixed?

Got my answers.. rate are fixed..

I also like UCAP (even though I hate company's associated with Tony) BUT I always try to remove extraordinary items when making my analysis. It is always good to understand the numbers.

I am surprised that people are disturbed by Oracle's post. Managing your emotions is basic to successful investing. Problem is that many are investing without a strategy/plan. They were told money can be made on the NSE, the saw the bulls and they felt prices will always go up, everyone became an expert.

For me, this is the time to step back and develop a real investment plan/strategy that first into your age, income, future plans and risk profile/appetite. . Filter out the noise and fire on!

If people IGNORE the daily price fluctuations, there are bargains on the NSE for the patient investors.

Just came across this post from our respectable oga Wanaj0.

Let GTB & Access Be Leaders, But Time to Buy Zenith Is Now
Zenith Bank has for the past 3 weeks testing the pin-bar created in August, this seems to be holding the stock price firmly along with decent volume. With GTB and Access already on the run (bullish sentiments), this could possibly be the right time to key into Zenith bank SP for a higher-high.

Transcorp is in corrective wave & likely to start its own rally soon. However, any pullback to the highlighted zone is surely a BUY (...for any new entrant. No need to average down if already in the stock)
