Most likely to be the culprit. It usually happens when you use or bath in infected water. This was why the doctor kept on asking if you are from riverine area in Ondo State where the disease is common

I have stayed away from it for some time now.

When I sleep at night now, my boxers gets wet again with the lond red worm....

NB: Doctor keep asking if I come from Ondo state, and when last I visited village, I work closely around water.

That might be the cause of your predicament. Have you told this exact statement to your doctor or any medical personnel?

Op, from your description, you have schistosomiasis. Instead of urine m/c/S, you need to do urine parasitology. Treatment is with praziquantel. I don't know your age. It's also good you check your prostate at once if you are more than 40yrs.

Please check "do it yourself group" its a Facebook group. There you can get answer to your problem. The solution you are looking for , you can't get it here on nairaland, they will only mock you.

Go and get Praziquantel tablets and thank me later see dosage attached below ... You must have been drinking borehole water or eaten contaminated fish

That's where you got the infection from. Don't only stay away for now, stay away permanently to avoid reoccurrence after you must have been healed of this one.
Act fast and treat yourself cos it seems it's getting to advanced stage. Not looking good now.
Some govt hospitals are good at treating this kind of infection. Lagos govt hospital at Onikan or something can treat it if you're looking at cost. You'll be treated and they'll flush your system.

Note: op never complained of any discharge or any other lower urinary tract symptom associated with urinary tract infection. He just has haematuria. He has a history of contact with untreated pool. He sees worm from his penis. Biko, how is this related to gonorrhea.

Whenever you treat yourself, pls treat your partner. Your partner may be a carrier and not symptomatic. After treating yourself and feeling releive you may get infected again from her. Uti and worm is the likely cause. It is obvious there is an internal injury

Upper urinary tract pathology ( ureter and kidney) would cause a whole stream red diluted urine. It looks more like a lower urinary tract bleeding . I would concentrate on looking into the urethra prostate and seminal vesicles. Of course a bladder condition cannot be ruled out. What he needs is a visit to the Urologist and investigations including urethroscopy will help.
Clotting studies will be in order especially if there is bleeding from other mucous membranes, mouth, nose or lower GIT.

The Op said the urine was red immediately he started passing urine, though frank blood and clot were seen at the end of urination.
What he described was more like a total hematuria.

Op... I'm sure a lot has been said(no time to really read through). I'm also sure alternative medical/herbal 'specialists' have come to do their thing. It's all good, but you need to be careful else it ends in profuse lacrimation.

VISIT A TEACHING HOSPITAL... UCH or UITH are my recommended places. I'm sure yours isn't the index case. I already have an idea what could be wrong, seen a somewhat similar case in my urology days. This is clearly not schistosomiasis though. The history is too sparse for me to make any conclusion. Let me know though, should you intend to come to UITH. I'll smoothen your consultation. It will be fine.

be careful with those random medications, for they could complicate & aggravate the condition the more. Be sure of what the infection is & source the right treatment. Go for tradotreatment instead.
