What if it is just a story.... I mean, the gospel are all written in the 3rd person and the writers never said they believed the story they are telling and they seem very far from it... Much like Harry Potter... Why the Romans added it at the end of the Jewish scriptures is what I am researching now.. I am almost close to unraveling the reasons.. |

He contrast them with Christian believe and ideas.. He is very good.. I asked him why the Romans added their so called" new testimonies" at the end of their tanack, clearly any one who is honest can see that both belief are different and it is not a continuation of the Jewish one.. He said it was mainly for propaganda. They want to claim they are the new Israel and hence a new convenant... This was his answer " Propaganda. They were trying to give their pagan religion credibility by saying that they were the new Israel, aka new covenant." I now asked him" What is the Jewish teaching on Satan or devil..? Please I will like to know.. Thank you.. He answered " There is only one G-d -- so they certainly didn't get it from Judaism! I've often thought they borrowed the idea from Zoroastrianism. OJODEL10: If you are really sincere you will see that the old testament beliefs are different from new testament beliefs.. God never said he had a son or he was sending him to die as sacrifice for sins.. He already told them "if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and seek my face and confess and turn away from their evil ways I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land"... All he demanded was a sincere repentance... He never asked for a human sacrifice.. The new testament he promised was a convenant of everlasting peace.. Not death for sins, he already gave them a solution to the problem of sin... So where did the Jesus story come from?.. It can't be the Jews.. They where looking forward to a peaceful future that the Messiah was supposed to Herald..... So you understand why the Jews will not and never believe Jesus is Messiah... Because God never said the Messiah will be a mediator Or a demi God.... |

sonmvayina:the issue of suffering messiah didn't start in the new testament but in the old testament. in the book of genesis 3:15 study that passage with open heart. the serpent and the seed of the woman. why did God have to by pass man to give the messiah. in that passage the messiah has to die(be bruise) and ressurrected (crushed). go to act 1:6 what the jews are after is kingdom restoration not any kind of peace. |

There is always enmity between humans and snakes... But exoterically, the serpent represented death.. The story is about life and death... sonmvayina:Times back, I was invited to a believer's gathering and they mostly were all believers gifted with the spirit of the MOST HIGH. During the service, they were praying and praying in a language that seems so odd to me. Yet, it wasn't something conjured up from the brain, it didn't look real, It was real, it was tongues .... I don't know how, but I got caught up and I tapped from the flow and I began to utter in a new language which I never heard nor was taught. The candle was lit and I was graced with this same spirit. Do you know why I am saying all these?? This spirit testified of Christ. And whatever is true of God the spirit testifies. And i submit to you, you need not to believe me, but with all thine heart, find God, find Christ, find this spirit and no-one and nothing will ever be able to cajole of feed you false teachings and lessons. You are a soon to be atheist but I pray thee that before your slide, find this SPIRIT. So many of your doubts and questions would be answered. |
