Please I have sent u a mail I was denied last week and am looking at reapplying I need some advice.

sharwama, I cannot count how many applicants you have referred to me. They always point to you, "she said I should contact you, that she's too busy." I know that type of busyness. It's the one you're pelted with another assignment before you finish the one on your table. But it's the only kind of proper education young minds need to rise and develop their nascent potentials. I trust you're doing fine and getting by with good grades.

Still your King, Fairheart grin grin

I am sorry you were denied. But the distance between you and your sponsor is like East to West. My uncle’s wife sister is certainly not your aunt. The relationship title of this person is outside the circle of Aunt. Think about that! I strongly believe the consular noted that and hmm in himself/herself. You can still try again.

I think she's his 'Aunt' Only in Principle.

So I believe that was the bloody flag!

Hello everyone please I need ur advice,i was denied last week and some of my friends are suggesting I reapply some say I shouldn't but my family wish I reapply.

Last week I was asked alot of questions by the VO but there are certain questions he asked me that is kind of wary.
First why am I going for master's I replied that my company is on the verge of promoting to a higher level and also to enhance my skills and knowledge he further asked why didn't dubia stamp my exist which I explained to him that I don't know but it was stamped in Nigeria upon my return I don't know if he thinks am lying, the second wary question is if my company would be giving me any funds or token and I replied saying No but they would give me remuneration fee but my dad is my major sponsor he asked what my dad does and I said he works for ministry and he is a supplier he asked to see my statement which I gave him and the 6month statement covers just 3pages meanwhile the VO looked at the statement thoroughly before denying me.

When I got home and asked my dad he said he was informed by someone I don't know to leave my school fees in his account so he wasn't doing anything on the corporate account hr gave me instead he left it there for me until I will be needing it.

Now my company is looking at giving me an agreement letter stating how much they would be supporting me with instead of the remuneration package they said before now they want to break the benefits I would be receiving.

Secondly my siblings here in Nigeria wants to give me their statement of account as supporting documents together with my dad SOA because they have good inflow and outflow.

Please I need your advice on how to make things right my school fees is 23,800 us dollars.

Are this supporting documents necessary can I go with more than my dad SOA.

For the phone number part, did you specify that you're not in the US cause that format is in US phone number format. If your phone number is 08000000000 You can try writing it as 8000000000

Big thanks to walspring.
SEVIS fee paid and confirmed within 24hours.

Please who knows how to get the "receipt number" on the gtb visa fee receipt? The reciept I have currently has nothing close to a number on it.

Currently filling my visa application and I am stuck in this question.

I was confused at this point, too.

Use the transaction reference number on the white paper. It'll work.

our stories look similar. I was also refused the F-1 Visa and that would be my second refusal while Preparing for Spring January resumption.
Mine is more bizarre cos I have full funding. To cut a long story short, the question I remebeered that was repeated on the second interview was my family. I am married with 2 kids and the apparent suspicion I reckon could be that I am planning to abscond with them to the US. I told the VO that my wife has a big business but that peharpse sounded unconvincing meanwhile they are not going with me but would visit during vacation and I would also visit when I'm on holls. Besides my phd research entails field worl that would .evwn be done in Nigeria after about 2 yeare of course work. After the first refusal everyone including my school was like just be straight to point and maintain a simple rule : if you are not asked, don't answer; if you are not requested to, don't supply. I did this and got fokd again. I remebered I was even discussing my research with the VO on the first interview and she listened with rapt attention. About the above rule, I think some straight answers are shrouded in some negative assumption when further explanations are not rendered. Again, it seems to me like any visa for longer stay no matter what justification has got some strict restrictions recently. VO was quick to increasingly probe my family including asking the kind of work my wife does and how old my kids are but ignored the information that I managed to quease in under tense questioning that my company gave me a leave of absence and that I earn really big (who will leave such salary behind?). I have enough money in my account despite the funding and my brother also gave me his account statement and sponsorship letter (he didnt want to see that). It may be sheer luck against me but its quite bizarre. I have since braced up and become more determined than ever (pls no spiritism here, I don't really entertain such like village people things)
Lastly I am also in a big dilemma whether to try. 3rd time. And could there be a date in this December?
Its still a mystery to me why the visa was denied a second time.

Good evening guys,
I would like to ask a question. If your sponsor has had constant money flow in their account (salary account) and huge sums of money are deposited in it a month or a couple weeks to one's visa interview would it be a red flag? Do they expect the sponsorship money to have been saved up for for a while?; Is it required that the sponsorship money be in the account for a long while? And is it acceptable for money to be taken out of the account as long as it doesn't interfere with the sponsorship money? sorry, I have a lot of questions

In my case my mail has subject 'Application for Graduate Assistant Position' so there could be no ambiguity and I had a lot of profs that said no funds and some that said there is a possibility of funding. But it is not an exact thing, I had one prof that promised to consider me but after submitting application he stopped replying my mails ( Auburn university), I will advise you apply to a lot of schools , the more the better your chances and of course fall term appears to offer more financial aid than spring. Best

Good info.

Its really hard to pinpoint the reason for your denial but try and be consistent in your second attempt. You first stated that your company offered you a renumeration package, now they want to provide a letter showing financial support for your masters program. Also, you want to support your Dad's SOA with your siblings own. All these reek of desperation and the V.Os will readily dish out the blue paper without thinking twice.

All the best.

The US embassy that I know is giving credible students the F1 visa on weekly basis (around admission term). If you have a valid reason, give it a try. The process is easy if you have all the information, which I advice you get from thread 14 (page number 1 contains the link).

The fact that you have been to the US and returned with a valid visa may actually increase your chance. Do start your application if you are going for fall 2020. If you conclude you will not get the visa, then don't try at all. Faith leads everything!
Best of luck.

People get refused. I am surprised you think this is bizarre; it is not. Recraft your response and go back. And one more thing, nairaland is known for being the place every applicant there and here curl responses used by someone else (especially by those approved). I advice that you craft your own response, uniquely to your case. Do not attempt to dodge any question when you appear again. Link your present job to the necessity of the program you are going for, and why you need it. It is not about the money in your acct, or the company you work, or your funding.

The quality of your responses to the questions determines your credibility for the F1 visa. The embassy is determined to give the visa to applicant them believe has this credibility.
