1. Real reason artists shoot videos in S. Africa is cheaper production cost so lets stop deceiving the masses ne!

2. Typical video with SA babes, As mentioned what is going for you is Hour glass shape and big nyash. As for face bros please lets stop lieing eh!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRZB25MlEJI

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZhmspaDeq0

3. The weather in Southern Africa is a consequence of tectonic shifts in the earth which creates higher elevations and thus a more temperate climate away from the equator, it has no bearing on the features of your face.

1.The reason Nigerians shoot their videos here is because Nigeria doesn't have a conducive infrastructure for videos plus area boys that patrol your streets want their cut too and not forgetting that they can't find sexy video vixens grin oh and who would shoot a video in peace with murderers like boko Haram and fulanis roaming the streets.

2.At least everything remains 100% South African.realise they don't bleach their skins like your hippos?

3.The point I was making is that we have naturally fair skin women because of the cool weather unlike your lizards that bleach their skins to the bone to look white

Hence the cheaper production cost. A 1 million dollar video shoot would get better quality and return if shot in SA, simple mathematical conclusion, in economics its called taking advantage of a comparative advantage.

I will let you pass on the above comment above seeing that you don't own and international passport and have probably never flown pass the Limpopo your answers will be based on your limited expanse of knowledge.

Videos can be shot in exclusive locations and only those that want to portray some sort of street cred would require shooting in the hood where area boyz patrol

As for Boko Haram, they are way up in the north and videos are rarely shot up there because the music industries base is in the south but you wouldn't know that either. Nigeria is just a jumbled up mess of 180 million people in your myopic view.

JaceBlaze:

We keep coming back to this bleaching skin phenomena. This is a cultural phenomena perculiar to Southern Nigerians as fairness is seen a thing of beauty within a couple of southern cultures. it has nothing to do with trying to look like white people. You would know this if you have ever visited Nigeria.

JaceBlaze:

3.The point I was making is that we have naturally fair skin women because of the cool weather unlike your lizards that bleach their skins to the bone to look white

We have naturally fair skinned people mostly from a specific ethnic group in this country as well induced by genetic disposition. The weather only smoothens out skin and does not cause it to be permanently fair, you just loose vitamin d that reduces the amount of melanin at certain periods of the year when the sun is not intense. YOur fair skin is very likely an inherited trait from interbreed with the lighter skinned African Khoi and San.

Nguni peoples are actually naturally darker skinned as is evident in the Matbele people of Zimbabwe who are a subset of this group that did not travel further into SOuth Africa an intermingle.

Colonized is a strong connotation to describe the above. I would say you entertained us and added to the already array of Nigerian artist during that era including King sonny Ade, Shina peters, Oritz Wilike, Majek Fashek, Christy Essien Igbokwe and the likes who were contemporaries of the people you mention above so please get your history straight.

HAHAHAHA!

You remove burner from the collabo he did with AKA and the song is a dud, dead on arrival, a waste of space. He was an up an coming artist who did AKA a favor and put him on the map outside of South Africa, otherwise compare both artists body of work and you will be silenced.

Please listen to the song again and listen to AKA's part, weak lyrics all through, could be replaced by any other rapper and song still be good.

To you its incoherent because your AKA speaks in with an "Afrikaans" accent, to most other Africans perfectly normal African accent which is evidence that most of us speak multiple languages

So even in the US is cheap? some of your videos are shot there,is it for the same reason you shoot in SA? cheaper production?...you Nigerians always like to shield your inferiority complex with lengthy and unnecessary explanation. The reason you shoot your videos outside Nigeria is because you hate your own country and love everything foreign.

Then how do you explain why you became the bleaching capital?

Yes for better production quality with all what is required to film a quality video that will be seen internationally, it would be cheaper in the US. What a million dollars would get you in America if converted to Nigeria would not get you the same quality "no matter how much money you throw at it". Its that simple, not sure why you can't wrap your head around that.

So we fly all the way to South Africa because of the girls eh, if I were a production manager or financing the project, I would sack whoever came up with that stupid reasoning.

JaceBlaze:

If all our videos were shot outside of the country that would make sense but seeing that they aren't your argument falls very flat. Try again please

180 million people= more females= who buy more bleaching products.

It is not only South Africa they are fighting all African countries because my country Nigeria is sinking. this is the problem when you have too many illiterate in a country. Also my country is ranked number two in the world in child marriage

I am in my 30's and been on nairaland very long time that is why I am a lot smarter than you so don't be mad at wisdom, it comes with age and bow down to your elders. Oops sorry your culture doesn't honor the elderly which is why this new generation in SA are directionless.

Your blessers are your shinning examples of how it is to be old ne!, They leave their wives and kids at home and ho on the next young girl they can find dancing around in the clubs like they are 20 year olds. Shame!

Let's get back to the subject matter though cause now that you don't have a rebuttal you are trying to deflect by red hering. Old foggies like me have a lot of experience with that.
