Overall, This is a watered-down version of the Original. Looked soulless, and lacked authenticity. Scar's version of the song, Be Prepared, was what pissed me off. Now I know why I refused to see it in theatre.

I downloaded this Movie from Netnaija last-month and then watched it.

There are 2 scenes I keep watching over & over again atleast 4times every week since I downloaded the movie - even till now. Infact, I just viewed the 2 scenes again before coming on Nairaland tonight.

1.) The scene where Mufasa goes to rescue Simba & Nala from the Hyenas (Shenzi & her gang).

That scene where Mufasa roared consistently before turning to Shenzi - warning her to stay away from his son.

Each time I hear that roaring sound of Mufasa - coupled with the volcano in his eyes, it stirs up something (a tingling sensation) inside my tummy. I am guessing it comes from my Solar Plexus Chakra.

2.) The scene where Scar rendered that song "Be Prepared".

I can not say for sure whether it is Scar's voice or the song itself, but every time I watch that scene, I feel a heat sensation right inside my heart (as if my heart is placed on a bunsen burner for 2 to 3 seconds).

I agree with your rating of the movie but I do not know why I am drawn to watching these two scenes over & over again.

I thought the movie was dull but the character, joker himself was great.
And yeah he doesn't seem smart enough to be able to stand up against Batman.
That's probably why there will not be a sequel.

Remember he is still in the early stage of joker and the man to become batman is still a kid. So he has many years ahead of him to perfect the act of crime. Joker is a solid movie. I believe It fulfilled what it set out to fulfill. It told a compelling story of how an ordinary, unknown mentally ill guy became king of crime. It's transition from an ordinary guy to a murderer is quite believable.

It was never concluded he was his father. Besides, most of the story was told from Arthur's view. Some of the things we feel are true may actually not be true, but they look true because we were shown from Arthur's view. For instance, his relationship with her neighbour. Attaching Wayne to Joker's story is a fresh dimension, which isn't bad.

Also a pity folks don't know that the Joker film is an origin story.

as for JP, the producers may be able to convince him.

Arthur looked appalling ..... wasn't looking well when his clothes are off maybe because of the reoccurring laughter draining and eating him up.....

Arthur looked how the script wants him to look, that's just part of the character.

the story is just there sha... nothing spectacular.

A psycho was taken off his drugs by political circumstances, he gets sick of being bullied and starts to imagine things...he then killed some bullies with in turn spark a societal war between the rich and poor by a comment made from a rich fellow.

if you have read some stories and watched documentaries about serial killers in the 19th century, you'll see stories like this... not exactly, but stories that looks like this.

This franchise has truly fallen . I wanted to place this flick on the same pedestal as Hobbs & Shaw, seeing that both movies: were generic, had a very predictable storyline, had lots of action scenes with little or no substance. But seeing that this one lacks any form of creativity, I'll gladly rate Hobbs & Shaw over this.
C'mon, this is the most protected individual on Earth, thus, if you're looking for ways to take him out, come up with something refreshing, creative & innovative. No offense & forgive my outburst, but the script of this movie, seemed as though it was written by a 10year old, so dumb AF.
Olympus was good, London was fair, but this...this was bad, and verily i say unto you, this franchise has truly fallen.
