Do you even understand the mission and purpose of the Unity Schools?

Why is it unfair when it allows about equal distribution of admission quota among all the States, to achieve the integration goal of the government and ensure federal subsidy is enjoyed across all the states?

Is it compulsory to attend a unity school or does it count as a requirement for future federal jobs or political office?

Stop being greedy and focus on the quota that has already been awarded to your State. Compete hard with your peers in your own state to merit admission as s delegate of your state, while the Katsina boy or girl need no competition as they will never be able to fulfill all the slots that have been fairly allocated to Katsina.

The leftover slots from a particular State that remain unfulfilled, will always be redistributed fairly again among the other States of the country.

Tell your child that these unity schools are FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OWNED
that Anambra you are from has thrice the number of schools in Katsina
That Anambra has 10x the number of educated citizens than katsinas.
That even at that low marks, there are still more southerners in unity schools than northerners.
Tell her Anambra state has schools far better than unity schools and she will go to one of those schools and that it's NOT a must to attend unity schools as not up to 1% of Nigerians get to go to those schools anyway.

So how do u rationalise katsina having far more slots in dss than anambra. Why not device a way to fill in and balance the quota like u did in the unity school admission. Why should certain parts of the country swallow up most of the slots when its time for recruitment,despite being (deliberately)educationally disadvantaged.. Are u encouraging perfection/growth DAT way? How can the country now harness its best brains and strive to be at par with the world?

I believe that at one point or the other, we've met that Northerner who wowed us with his/her academic balance and redefined the usual opinion of them.

The only different between my son and Haruna is state of Origin. My son is from Anambra and Haruna is from Kastina. They are both Nigerians. Same age.

He is crying.. he has always wanted to go to a Unity school. He has worked really hard for it.

Should i tell him that he is expected to have a higher IQ than Haruna ?
What then should i tell him when Haruna ends up being named as the chief justice of the federation over him, or the Inspector general of police, or Chief of Army staff ?
