Have been a follower of Christ right from when I knew the different between A and B. I became dedicated to him right from childhood, participating in church activities, alot, Right from Childhood. I pray to him, and I do everything necessary to please God, but now I need God more, he seems mute and quite, I pray to him about it, meditate and yet No positive result. Am really broke now, I worked for some company's and Hotels but when its time to pay, they cook up stories. I prayed about it, yet no results. I dont even have money to feed, yet they made me believe God is watching me with all the hardship.

Now, am confused isn't that God doesn't exist or he abandoned me, I dont get it

Please help.

I don't think God has anything to do with this. Yes he loves you and he hasn't abandoned you but you shouldn't live life expecting magic.

First, there are many employers who refuse to pay employees, they can be reported to authorities. Before you go for a job do your own homework. Find out the history of the company, its easy to know when companies don't pay their staff. They usually keep recruiting all the time because people leave. During my early days of job hunting ,when I'm going for an interview, I quickly look for someone to ask, even if it is the next office to where I'm interviewing or the security people or even the receptionist, someone will definitely hint you about the place. You can even search nairaland and ask you will hear from people who have experience with the place.

Getting a job is not about jumping at any offer you see even if it is attractive, find out. God won't come to earth to perform miracles. He will bless you when you make an effort.

If jobs are not working, try a trade, or a craft or handy work. Opportunities don't come to those who sit down and wait. It comes to those who are proactive and trying different ways to make things work.

If you fall down, you stand up again, if you keep falling, keep picking yourself up. You will realize that the strength to keep trying is not your own but God. Sometimes he teaches us things and most times we are not paying attention.

In that difficult situation, if you tell yourself you can make it, you will but if you give up on yourself, how then can you believe God is looking out for you.

The above explain that, first, this world is a place of pain for all human beings, and second, this world is a particularly difficult place for believers for the test of their faith.

There have been many for a long time now who have been teaching that being a believer in Jesus Christ means that you should never suffer in this life, or that if you do suffer, it should be only for a little while in order for you to come into a long stretch of enjoyment. None of these things is a biblical teaching.

The Bible clearly teaches that we are in a war. Every human being is. Satan is interested in preventing as many human beings as possible from believing in Jesus Christ, and this world is in his grasp for now (1 John 5:19), so he does not bother unbelievers as much as he does believers. And the Lord God leaves rebels alone for now if they persist in their rebellion. It is only in some severe cases that He punishes them (1 Timothy 5:24), otherwise, it is only believers that the Lord is concerned with while they still live here on Earth (Hebrews 12:4-13; Psalm 73).

So, Satan is constantly looking to make life hard for believers to discourage them from continuing to believe, and the Lord tests us so that our faith can be shown to either be genuine and long-lasting or be ephemeral. Only those who retain their faith in the Lord until the end of their lives or until the Lord returns if they live until then are saved (Matthew 24:13).

Please be encouraged. Don't lose heart because of the troubles that you face, because that is a normal part of the believer's life. It is why we are here: to make a firm choice about the Lord, whether we will trust Him and serve His Will no matter what or whether we will reject His Authority for whatever reason we prefer.

Also, it is good to act toward human beings with some sense of caution. If people don't pay you after working, perhaps you should not work for them anymore, or else ask them for some early advance that will reduce the pain of not getting paid at all.

But others have seen. That David did not see does not mean they don't exist.

Bro i understand how frustrating it could be, but trust me bro, you may have not even started praying when it comes to some of us.

As you may have seen the example I gave above of David begging for bread to show that delay didn't mean denial or that he was forsaken, for this was someone who was already annointed king of Israel but to officially sit on the throne, he had to beg, feign madness, look for refuge in the camp of his enemies, and there was even a time when his own people almost stoned him out of frustration.

But in spite of how frustrating it was for him, it was said that David encouraged himself in the Lord, because he knew that his sufferings didn't mean that he was abandoned or forsaken by God or that God didn't exist, but that his time had not yet come.

And you know what later happened in spite of all those things he faced, today we are calling Jesus the son of David.

I have experienced many frustrations myself, but only yesterday I was able to get back some important documents I had misplaced in a public place and had been praying to God for several months to help me get back, and that happened in the morning.

Then in the afternoon I met with a teenage school girl in a public place who asked to talk to me about God and I thought it was just normal preaching. But by the time she was through, i discovered that she was actually sent by God for she was saying things about me despite that it was the first time we were meeting. And when I asked her concerning this she accepted that God was the one that sent her but that she was initially relunctant.

I was really encouraged because she wouldn't be more than sixteen years old, but what she told me, only God could have told her that about me and because it had to do with my walk with Him and His plans for me that i should not be discouraged.

So bro don't give up, just keep praying and doing what's right in God's sight, and He would answer you in due time, for delay is not denial.

If I narrate to you my ordeals, you would have turned an atheist for my sake. I am saying this to you that you might not turn blind and join the "there is no G-d crew".
I tell you, even as gravity is a constant and physical laws were what they were since the beginning. Even so, there are principles, causes and effect, and ordinances laid down since time that guides the neccessary things of life on earth which you seek [Money, health, long life and all] and for the infinite love of G-d, it doesn't matter whether you pray to him or not, if you apply this causes, you will see the right effect . His ways of doing things are far higher than ours, and His thoughts far higher than ours; Again, if you are not satisfied with your result, check your routine. DON'T give up on God, because He won't give up on you... He's Able...

Please try and listen to Apostle Joshua Selmans teachings on --The Weapons of our warfare parts 1-3 and Mystery of Deliverance parts 1-4. They have really been of a great help to me. You have to remember that what the scripture says in James 1 vs 2 & 3

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

Our stewardship to God is not precondition for. Material blessings. Our goal is to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

I really pray that God will meet you at the point of your need.

If it is true that God is uninterested, then it means that currently now you should and/or ought to be dead, and thats from God asking for His breath back from you. God is interested in you, which is why you're alive on earth, breathing in the land of the living. If not, then means, you by now should be six feet under, but you aren't yet six feet under, so indicates God's interest in you.
