I would advice that since you earn N50K, go for a room or self contain that's less than N100k per annum. never spend more than your 2 months salary on rent. |

MrHighSea:You think and execute just like me. I have never lived in an apartment that my one month pay can't cover. When i was earning 70k, i shared a SC with a colleague and the rent then was 110k, my share was 55k. Later i got a job that paid 250k and moved to a 2BR of 240k- 20k/month... Got married there and moved to a bigger apartment but always ensured i kept it below or at par with my 1 month pay. Now I and my lovely wife live in a 35k/month 3BR and as always it's far below my monthly take home. Make i no go work all year round for landlord. My advice to the guy is to stay put where he currently is till his take home improves considerably. |

Ramanto:Diversify your income streams. The earlier the better .. With Nigerians inflation currently rising, 50k will soon not be enough for a 3 square meal |

Good day all, Please help a brother, as being in need of a place to stay within Lagos mainland due to where I stay got flooded. And, I don't have enough money to run a full rent package at the moment. Please, I appreciate joint rent. This applies as what I consider * You have a rented place and you plan moving out to another place BTW Nov and Dec * You need a roommate to share the rent bills with * Rent without agent and commission(i.e 3500 or 3k monthly) God bless you as you put a smile on my face. some of you here actually have no real need moving to am apartment. Most of y'all simply moved out because y'all needed private spaces to Fu--ck on a regular basis nothing More! when you should have hanged back in, saved some money and bought your first landed property at a young age. But because you need freedom to always be laying Chics you ran out, so society can label you a Boss or a Man because you rented a flat. Imagine someone saying he paid rent of 200k ontop 50k salary, I am certain it's because of societal appraisal. #30% of your income is the financial advice, anything more than 30% of your annual income you are living beyond your means! Someone of 80k salary shouldn't be in a house above 240k rent To each his own, wetin concern me.... |

40,000. I got a small apartment for N250,000 from my savings before i got married and moved out. I could afford the apartment because i did side jobs. And these side jobs finally turned to my main hustle |
