I received a 20% tuition scholarship from Deakin after my COE was issued and also I have applied for my visa. Is it needed to attach the scholarship letter as a supporting doc or not necessary as the scholarship doesn't reflect on the submitted COE and school wont be issuing an update but I was told the scholarship is already keyed into my records.

Then continue with your studies in Germany or try USA because no school in Australia will issue eCOE for you without part or full payment of your first semester.

What you actually got is discount, Deakin normally used that strategy to attract international students and no cause for alarm immi is aware of the situation.

Please will i be required to submit my passport or just the copy during the process of school admission and visa processing or will it be asked after the visa is granted?
Your passport number or if required, scanned passport page is all needed, your passport won't leave your hand at any stage. It won't be stamped at POE self, everything is electronic

A friend emphasised i go for an AL1 university. He says this because i only need to share a sponsors bank statement with the school diring their GTE Assessment stage.

That during the visa application process i will not be required to upload a my Sponsors bank statement again.

Guys, is this true?
What is an AL1 university in Australia?
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by braindamage(m): 1:58pm On Nov 17, 2019
Thanks.

Dearbest:
With my little experience, the visa that will be issued to you is a two year Visa that will end march of the following year. The stated date is when the academic calendar end and that doesn't stop your course from being a two year course.

Thanks

Check cricos, you will see how many weeks your course was registered for. From there you can determine if you'll be qualified for post study

Greetings, a quick question please. Is it advisable to put one's desire to pursue PhD after completing one's master study in the GTE statement in place of getting a job offer. Please respond.

AL1 or not there is every possibility that you may be ask for it. It depends solely on the immi officer handling your application.

Greetings, a quick question please. Is it advisable to put one's desire to pursue PhD after completing one's master study in the GTE statement in place of getting a job offer. Please respond.

I believe it's not bad to state your FUTURE intention of getting a PhD but write all you can to convince anybody who reads your SOP that the Masters degree you are going for NOW is just what you need to get that big job, or to qualify to apply for that better position/company. It doesn't have to be that there's already a job waiting for you.
In my case, I did mention in my SOP that I'd get a PhD AFTER I've acquired some professional experience with the position I'd work in using the master qualification I'm going to study NOW (from Feb 2020) in Australia if my visa is granted, and my visa was granted. During a Skype interview with my school, they asked me if I intend continuing with the PhD (which I mentioned in my SOP) immediately after my masters in their school. I said no, that it's a future years plan and I haven't decided on which country I'd choose for it for now.
So I think it's okay to mention the PhD, just don't say you intend to stay back after your Masters for any reason.
Good luck

We are all entitled to our opinion anyway, that's what he thinks, afterall I'm sure the 20% means alot to the guy if he only knows the total indicative fee and what it takes to be eligible

Hello Guys

Congrats to those who have gotten their visas approved and goodluck to those still expectant.

I want to ask please, aren't there scholarship/funding opportunities for full/partial tuition waivers in Aus?

I have just been seeing here you need at least 15m or so to study there.

So my question is, is it that one MUST have those millions to be considered sad sad

Can't i apply for scholarships, get there and probably find a job to support myself and offset other costs?

Thank youuu.. ..

Thanks for your response Nenyeroz1.
One more question to ask, is it better to have all that one state in his SOP during course application in the GTE statement or the GTE statement can be better fashioned to seem appealing to the case officer?
Thanks in anticipation to your response.

I understand your fears with IETLS. It will interest you that you can use PTE (Pearson Test of English) in lieu of IELTS/TOFEL. You can contact me if you have further questions on PTE

Any suggestion on how to go about it? Thank you.

Please house,

I beg the gurus in this house to help me.

I have been denied my offer, according to the compliance manager of my school, there is no proof of sufficient fund from my cousin to cover my cost for subsequent year.

Please, what should I do now, because I have already made payments before the outcome of this GTE.
My agents didn't guide me well.

How do I get to proof to the sch that am a genuine students, now that I have sufficient fund but didn't declare it earlier when an additional information was needed, and I was send the outcome of the application as well to be unsuccessful because of insufficient fund from my cousin.

I submitted the same SOP that I used to apply for admission for visa also. However, before lodging my visa application, I'd carried out more extensive research on my field of study, in terms of the opportunities (job wise) that abound in it in Nigeria and which ones I target to get after completing my masters in Australia. Also, I gave examples of existing establishments where I'd apply to and what additional personal professional practice I'd register in order to be able to get contracts with gov. and non-gov. organisations upon my arrival in Nigeria after studying the Masters in Australia.

grin long answer abi. Lol
So, short answer is, I believe you can upgrade the SOP you gave your school and use it for visa application. Just ensure its the same essay. (That's what a professional advised me to do during my time)
Hope this helps.
