Let me quickly gush about a movie series that had me glued this past week.

David Makes Man.

I don't do this about movie series. Very selective about the kind of TV series I watch. None of those homeland, supernatural, vampire diaries, flash etc... stuff.

But here is why I loved this... It had a consistent theme. And its real. Very real. Black soul songs, poems and helping you get in touch with your own desire to want to reach out and help others. I'll be surprised if this one doesn't win many awards.

Although there were subtle gay themes. Every American series has a subtle gay theme nowadays. Really, just watch the series if you want a break from the mass of boring, half baked TV series

Also am fascinated by a possible New York born Nigerian named Ade Chike Torbert, one of the impressive cast.
