The children are recognized as his children.

Now there is big wahala in that family... grandfather is dead, the woman married for him is dead but he has refused to accept those children (my friend is one of them). If he dies now who is his first son?

Now the grandpa was the guilty one here. Why didnt he just marry the wife for himself. Selfish guy who has now left problem for his children.

Happy marriage life to the teenagers. This youngsters might been nakking even at age 11 and 10. For me it's a right thing they decided to make it known and I'm happy their parents consent to their request of getting married. My brother it's real. It's just a matter of understanding. There's nothing the man can do. Those children are his according to tradition n the community recognizes them as his he can't reject them. At least not in igbo land. The older woman was well married with all marriage rites done. In igbo, once a community agrees to a thing it becomes not only a tradition but also a law.

Let's wait for Nairaland's Madam "no consent with a minor" to tell us if the boy can be termed a rapist

If the parents in question had told the boy to look for his own house and means of living first before he gets married, should he had gone ahead?
