cut it short, they said during the era in Nigeria, when people land from abroad and robbers attack them to steal what they brought from overseas, so along the line the man got killed in lagos, his family heard the news and buried their son, but unknown to family that his ghost has come to Akure build house there and living live, but calling his friends abroad, one day! One of his friends abroad returned home(lagos), heard about his death news from the family, his friend could not believe it, told his family that the man normally called them, that he has settled in Akure, that how his family came to akure but could not find him in his building.
It's a long time ago sha, am even younger that time. Am not good telling story, if u find it complex to understand.

What if she wasn't really dead and it was just a case of misinformation or someone used death to cover up some foul play?. These nonsense doesn't exist. Forget about all those people that will say you're still a kid not to believe such or that there's more to the eye bla bla. Cases like this are usually caused by misinformation, falsehood ,deceit and confusion. I've not seen some of my friends in years neither have I heard from them if someone should tell me he/she died many years ago, I'll easily believe that for sure and if I should now confidentially see him later in the future trying to board a bus at oshodi I go say na ghost.

do u know that the same thing has happened to me my aunty who is dead now (may her soul rest in peace) one of my mother's friend called her and told her that she just saw my aunty and my mother said that can't be possible she is dead and the woman replied but I just saw her now now

there was this lady that died in my village some years ago. The very day she died, she went to Lagos to greet her sister. when the sister asked her to enter the house, she was like she's coming that she wants to deliver a message.
the moment the she Left, a call came from home that her sister is dead.

A close friend of my late aunt saw her at Abeokuta in 2006. She even stayed with her for 2 weeks. Late aunt who struggled in her lifetime was already a well to do and living in her own house with exotic cars in her new life at Abeokuta.

This lady (friend) had relocated to Abeokuta city several years back and never knew my aunt had died in 2002.

This friend came to Lagos few weeks after my late aunt had hosted her. She stopped by at our family to share the hospitality news and how well her friend hosted her for two weeks. It was there and then she got the shocker.

Every member of our family was shocked and in disbelief. In fact one of my cousins followed the lady to Abeokuta to reconfirm but the flat they both lived for 2 weeks was no where to be found and has a totally different building on it.

What makes it scary was that something similar had already happened 3 years back when my Uncle too passed on (story for another day) and we all just concluded that's the norm in my paternal family.

Lost my mum in 2011 and I thank God similar thing did not happen. I still think about her till date and never for once have I dreamt about her in my dreams. To me, it means she's resting perfectly well in peace.

Help me to understand this event better. You said the war ended for him(Thaddeus) in 1968 and he came home after he was injured, right? Does this mean that the man has been living with his family since 1968 up till the moment the news came on about his demise that he died in the war in '68? I'm guessing "recently" used in your write up is actually 2019, if not please quote me.

2)The op claim the father is 69 years old mathematically he was born in 1950.Therefore he was 13 during the war apparently a child soldier.
3)At 13,So you are telling me he is married already..is that it?.

This thing happens to people who die before it is their time. There are many of them around, and you can't see them, but you can feel their presence. If you rub the water from the eye of a dog on your eyes, you'd see them. I recommend you don't try it. Be assured that their father would not be seen by them again. He's gone somewhere else until his time is up or until he decides to begin his journey.

What I don't understand is how they can assume a physicality and still hover around until the people they are with get to know. I don't like to do research on extra-terrestrial abstraction, thing is scary.
